Our room was spacious and met our needs. Single beds as well as the king size bed which was very comfortable.
The room was in the corner out of the bustle of other hotel users.
Our spa bath was wide and water was lovely and hot

Loved the peaceful location, a real country vibe. The Villa had everything we needed, spotlessly clean, cosy and warm. Extremely comfortable beds. Loved the touch of complimentary wine, cheese & crackers

I've been to Havelock North before but was happy to come back again. It is handily situated near Te Mata Peak and the beach communities of Haumoana. There are also a number of great wineries nearby - Black Barn is worth a visit for lunch and on Saturday for the small market. For a small town it has a great selection of eateries and clothing shops - I think the town is reasonably affluent. You can also hire bikes, which I have done before and cycle to the wineries or out to the sea.

We love this area for the vineyards.
We love this area for the vineyards. We had a beautiful lunch at Black Barn and an exceptional dinner at Craggy Range. Havelock North is easy to walk around and has some nice coffee stops. The outdoor pool is worth a visit in the summertime.

We loved the location, the spa bath jets in Room 7 were not working. On the second morning of our stay, there had been overnight rain. The rain was in pools on the second floor deck and my partner slipped right over and hurt himself, whilst carrying bags to the car and some of our items got soaked in the water from the deck. Another guest was warned to be careful of the slippery deck and he advised he too had almost slipped over as well. Can we please constructively advise that a non-slip paint be applied, which would help prevent similar accidents. On the positive, we were very impressed with the level of cleanliness of the rooms and the meticulous cleaners, it was very impressive and felt good. Laundry and drier was a real bonus and pet-friendly facility meant our pet could enjoy Havelock North as much as we did.
The cleanest, cutest, fanciest little accommodation I ever did stay... and with a hot tub! We were only there for one night and it was perfect. We grabbed dinner near by and cozied up for the night, bed is super comfy, shower is great pressure, kitchenette is very well equipped, fans and air con as well. Never met the host but very easy to txt and communicate. Airbnb is on the same property as host but don't the back and fenced off, felt very private.
We appreciated the cereal, milk, bread, butter and a large choice of teas and coffee. The accommodation was very clean, comfortably furnished, very spacious with large bathrooms and excellent linen. Lots of wardrobe space and hangers - this is excellent when travelling. The location is within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes and shops and yet situated in a quiet street with a bushy outlook and birdsong.
Well appointed room, spacious, tastefully decorated, loved that the bathroom had underfloor heating and a lockable storage for our e-bikes in the carparking area. Fantastic restaurant, Malo, attached to the hotel where we were able to book meals to our room. So many lovely shops, bars, cafes and fabulous wineries in close proximity. Located in the heart of Havelock North...will definitely return to Porters!
Comy 2-bedroom house in quiet garden setting. A 5 minute drive into Havelock North, so easy to access restaurants, cafes, Te Mata Peak, Napier, wineries (we went to Craggy Range and Church Road) and Cape Kidnappers. Excellent wifi. We stayed (two couples) for 2 nights. The re: 2 bedrooms both have ensuites and are on the ends of the house, with the living space in the middle, and a large deck too.
We stayed in Havelock North to attend a memorial service for a much loved family member who was the last of his generation. It was an important family gathering. The size and facilities of the homestead enabled our immediate family to stay together and to catch up with other members of the wider family over a relaxed meal in the evening.
Awesome scenic location in a beautiful old cottage. Amazing! Hosts are very thoughtful with what they've provided, including delicious fresh bread and other goodies for breakfast, too. You won't regret staying here. Top tip - duck down to the Red Bridge coffee cart (2 min drive) in the morning for some of the best coffee in Hawkes Bay!
excellent location. walking distance to all the shops and cafes of Havelock North. Very clean rooms, that were surprisingly soundproof. We were so grateful to be able to find somewhere that we could bring our dog along with us on holiday.
stunning property just out of Havelock North. The property is beautifully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, indoor outdoor dining options and lots of different sitting areas.
Appreciated the water pressure in the shower 😃
Beautiful home. So comfortable and well decorated. Loved the en suite bedrooms and outside seating area. Location had stunning views. Set in the hills and a short uber ride away from Havelock North. Loved our stay here!
We had an amazing stay. The tiny house is so cute and very comfortable. The view is incredible, and Rochelle and Clayton were so welcoming. We will definitely come and stay again when we are in Havelock North.
Good size rooms, very clean. Large spa bath. Staff very friendly, welcoming. Location is the perfect spot to walk around Havelock North shops and restaurants
