Leszno is a pleasant town with a striking main square.
Leszno is a pleasant town with a striking main square. Cafes are in short supply (the main chains haven't reached here and independents only partially fill the gap. The Leszno walk (from the Tourist Office) was fine. I had a return trip by rail to Glogow and walked to Swieciechova and back, but even so 3 nights was probably one too many.PhilipUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Everything was pretty much great.
Everything was pretty much great. It was a smallish room but for the great price and nice location it was good enough to make me happy. I did not get to see much of the town as my back was hurting so I just stayed in my room except to go to the LIDL store which was about 2 minutes away. They also had the Ibuprophen I needed and it was up near the checkout stand.

For its size, Leszno has quite a sizable offer of Summer...
For its size, Leszno has quite a sizable offer of Summer festivals. It's green enough and laid back. Good number of attractions for children (mini zoo, WMB, new playgrounds, etc.) It's city center has quite the offer of restaurants with a couple of hip places. It's easy to get around town either by bike or car.

I did not expect so much from the hotel at first booking, however I was very very surprised with appearance of hotel, room and restaurant. The food was delicious, I could say the same about the breakfast. I will definitely stay there again, soon...

I used to live here for years but the city got much better...
I used to live here for years but the city got much better recently. Plenty of cafes and walking areas & playgrounds in the open air. Some pieces of great street art too. Nice place to spend a weekend.MagdalenaHungary - 10Scored 10

Market Square is interesting. with various cafes ,shops and the Old Town Hall with a clock tower playing tunes on its bells. Three historic and interesting churches to visit in the centre of the Old Town. The Old Synagogue and Jewish History is also interesting. Shame that the Jewish Poles have been lost from the Population during WW2. You wont find much mention of them in modern Leszno,although it had a large Jewish Population before WW2.
