Beautiful location, very spacious and lovely balcony where you could enjoy a lovely glass of vino after a long day of walking. The owners are very nice to leave us some drinks and food. Great communication too.

A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season.
A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season. We visited in February so almost everything was closed. It was lovely because there were no tourists and you could easily find a place in a restaurant (although it wasn't that easy to find an open restaurant). The center still has the feel of an old-type fishing village with tiny cute white and blue houses, but you can see and feel the pressure of the modern beach town which is just behind the old city center. Great beaches and amazing cliffs add to the attractiveness of Porto Covo both in winter and in summer.

Gorgeous spot to visit if you want to stear away from big crowds. Views are breathtaking with a bunch of beaches connected by caves and grottos. There really isn't much else there. A small little village with some eating facilities and a small supermarket. It's a perfect spot for one day and night. The fact that you can park your car wherever you please is also very nice.

Great location for beach goers, with multiple pristine, gorgeous coves in close walking proximity.
Friendly staff; we were upgraded to an ocean front view room and they were able to accommodate our request for a late checkout, last day of our trip so we were able to enjoy the beach before our long flight home.
Breakfast (included) was plentiful and offered many options.
Our trip included stays at 5 hotels, this was the only one that actually had a stocked mini fridge.

Porto Covo is an attractive little town with a small fishing harbour. The Main Street has a lot of very touristy shops. A fair choice of restaurants to eat in but nothing special. It was easy to get to using the very efficient Portuguese bus service and a good place to start walking the Rota Vicentina.

Beautiful little town. Nice restaurant.
Beautiful little town. Nice restaurant. Lovely little local fish and fruit market open in the mornings only. No main supermarket that I could see, only small local ones. But a beautiful beach and cove.

Sweet town, but very touristy feeling.
Sweet town, but very touristy feeling. Tour buses dropping people in, and the restaurants felt geared for tourists too. (though check out the pizza place in the main street, excellent).
Great view from the coastline but not a swimmable beach. Really central to some great day trips, but I think there are better towns in the area for a longer stay.
Check out the horseriding nearby, excellent.
The pool and living space was amazing. The owners were super chill and kind and ran it well. Breakfast was amazing. The view was perfect for the sunset. The location was easy to find. The beds were large and there was drawers and a cupboard in the room. There were your own lights and powerpoints in the room. Considering its near a beach, you didnt find much sand underfoot inside either. Each bedroom had a little balcony that faced the pool and ocean.
Lovely, warm & inviting place. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Lots of very nice touches. The staff went out of their way to be gracious and hospitable. Dinner was generous, and breakfast was excellent.
The grounds were beautifully kept and truly enjoyed the animals. The animal sanctuary was well taken care of.
Thank you Angela for the warm welcome. And thank you to Ryan and his family for taking great care of us.
This accommodation was just the best thing! The apartment was huge, it had its own kitchen, bathroom, living room and even patio where one could grill fish or anything else. Porto Covo is a small town, so everything was within walking distance - 5 min walk to the town's market with fresh food, 5 min to restaurants and shops and even the beach was just as near! I loved the stay here so much, I almost weeped when I had to leave 😂
I liked the relaxing athomsphere at the guesthouse. It is just a minute or two from the center of Porto Covo, and is a good starting point for walks to the beach or on the many walking paths around the village.
The room and bathroom was of comfortable size, and the Fench balcony worked well. The room service was excellent.
The breakfast has fresh bread and fresh fruites and juice every day, and a good cup of coffee. 😊☀️
The host was friendly, helpful, informative. The guest house had spacious, clean rooms, fully equipped. The shared kitchen had plenty of coffee, and we were offered a large bottle of beer. Terrace was beautiful, living room had books and games. Location was excellent--around the corner from restaurants, the grocery stores, and the beach. One of the best places at which we have stayed.
Location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Porto Covo. Close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, the beach and - probably most importantly, the start of the Fishermen's Trail. Can't go wrong. Nicolau is a good host and does his best to make everyone feel welcome. Bed was comfy enough, decent WiFi and shower. Cool little rooftop with tables and chairs.
The villa is just amazing! Everything is new. Nice pool, big bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, very nice furniture as well. The villa has just everything you need to have a great time in Porto covo. The village is within a 10 min walk and has restaurants and a rooftop bar. The most amazing beaches are also within walking distance.
Wonderfully spacious full apartment; well maintained and clean with a washing machine (no dryer function) as well! Fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea as well. Would definitely recommend, especially for a longer stay in Porto Covo (we were only there one night). Easy 3min walk to main street with restaurants.
Everything was great! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The location was perfect, the space was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, and the staff was so friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing as well. I will definitely be back next time I am in Porto Covo.
Brand new hotel, you can literally smell it.
There was an incident at the breakfast, but it was addressed to the director, and sure enough, the next morning they made sure it was properly corrected .
That for us was a very positive sign
Very friendly staff. Location is perfect .
As a family we loved this place. we would live there full time if we could. Right in the center of town, 5 minutes from the beach and around the corner from the town square and a grocery store. So much space and the everything you need to live. My family loved it.
Wonderful central location, walk to beach and restaurants. Very good, complete breakfast served in nice, spacious room and open until 11:00, great for late risers like us. Large pool. Comfortable bedroom/bath. Very convenient free covered garage w/ easy access.
Place was located in the center, near the ocean. Bright room with big window, well-kept comfortable bathroom. Very comfortable bed. In few minutes walk you can be on very beautiful beaches od Porto Covo ;o The closest one is like 5 minutes from the apartment.
The host was extremely nice. Room was spacious and clean. Nice fire place to relax in the evening in common area. Good value for money, convenient location. We would definitely come back here next time we have the chance to visit Porto Covo again.
Relaxing quiet pastoral space. Pool was refreshing on a hot afternoon after we walked the Fisherman’s walk. Quiet night’s sleep in comfortable bed. Shower was hot with good water pressure
Loved Stay Porto Covo. The location was excellent, the apartment is lovely, and it was so nice to have extras like coffee and snacks. The host was also extremely helpful and responsive.
