Our seven nights at Cocotier du Rocher were wonderful. The apartments are in a beautiful garden with a cute rabbit, geckos, and birds. Our place was big and really clean. The staff and manager were great, taking care of everything we needed and giving us good advice about the island. We rented bikes from the hotel and easily reached all the beaches. The island itself is like a paradise with amazing nature and beautiful beaches. We highly recommend the hotel and would love to come back anytime.

Paradise… definitely recommend to stay for a few days instead of just a day trip! Loved the laid-back vibe of the island. It only has a few cars, so very convenient to get around on foot or by bike. You can stop at the hidden beaches you discover on your way, enjoy the view of the tropical forest, and befriend the turtles you meet on your way :). For a bite, don’t miss Chez Jules, great fresh juices and amazing food!

Although I was unlucky to get 1 full day of heavy rains but I enjoyed the property with swimming pool and took a rainy walk around.
They have got best beaches and would recommend to visit Source D'argent beach for sunset.
Cycling around the beach road was also fun...!

The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches.
The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches. The only downside is that the concentration of visitors is the highest in Seychelles. That said, you can still find your spot in the shade on most beaches.

We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable.
Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic.
Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.

Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)

It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority .
Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur .
It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more.
I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving .
Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip .
It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling )
Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
Great breakfast including savoury items and fresh fruits!
Elluna is a fantastic host - very approachable, ready to help organise bikes and gave good tips for things to do on La Digue (hiking, day trips with the boat, beaches, restaurants).
The apartment was very modern, lovely balcony and courtyard, air conditioning in the bedroom and fully kitted out kitchen. It is in a relaxed part of La Digue. We felt very safe and at home.
This was our favourite part of our holiday on the Seychelles (we also went to Praslin and Mahe).
Our favourite stay in the Seychelles. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean, the staff and owner are extremely kind and were always very happy to help. We were greeted every morning with a nice juice and some fruit which was a lovely thing to wake up to. The room was very clean, smelled quite nice, and had everything we needed. Pick up at the jetty was much appreciated. For drop off to the jetty there is an extra cost as expected but really isn't very far to walk if you prefer.
Excellent villas. Anse Severe beach is right out the front door, the town is a short walk or a quick bike ride. We felt extremely comfortable and safe here. The porch is large and great for waking ip or winding down after a day of exploring La Digue. Big thanks to the host and staff for making everything convenient with transfers to and from the jetty, solid bicycles, and free water in the rooms (no need to stock up on bottled water!)
We loved EVERYTHING during our stay at Le Nautique. Everything exceeded our expectations and the staff went above and beyond to to make this our favorite place that we stayed during our 2 week holiday in the Seychelles. We loved all of the meals that we ate at the hotel and you couldn't ask for a better view to enjoy your meals and sunset drinks. The location was perfect to just hop on your bike to explore the island!
The fresh welcome drink was lovely, good COVID-19 precautions, we were offered a lovely fresh breakfast on arrival, bike hire was great, staff very accommodating for an early check in and late check out. The location was also really nice as it was really beautiful with all the plants and flowers. Loved the property decor - very authentic and a great start to our first time in Seychelles.
If you're looking for a hotel walkable to the ferry terminal with friendly staff, impeccably clean, close to groceries and a comfortable stay, I highly recommend the "Chalet Bamboo Vert." It's conveniently located near the ferry terminal, and guests often praise the warm and welcoming staff, as well as the comfortable accommodations, making it a great choice for your trip.
well-equipped kitchen available to cook, nice staff, clean rooms that were cleaned daily, good sized bathroom, nice terrace to sit outside (it's covered so can sit outside even when it's raining), bikes available to rent through the hotel at the same price as in other places throughout the island, and very close to the best takeaway on La Digue (Rey and Josh's)
Excellent location, beautiful garden and most important very hostile owners Doris and her husband. They have rented us bikes, advised on places to see/do and let us touch lifestyle of local people.
Advice to other visitors - you may pay in euros (you will save on exchange fee to Seychelles rupees😊).
Great apartment and amazing host! It was the best of our accommodations in Seychelles. Nice garden, sea view, bikes to rent for a reasonable price and fast wifi. The beaches nearby were very beautiful. The host picked us up at the ferry station which was very helpful. I wish we stayed longer :)
Lovely apartment in close proximity to Anse Source D‘Argent and not far from the pier. Clean and comfortable with lovely staff. They rent out bicycles to explore beautiful La Digue at your own pace and can do pier transfers in an electric vehicle.
very friendly owner, good locality - in the center (near to everywhere). you can also ask for dinner from ahmed - really delicios fish (baracuda), creol chicken, rice, avocado and tomato salad. you have to try it - best dinner on seychelles
The view, cleanliness, and friendless of the stuff are all amazing.
The Italian restaurant was the best thing i’ve ever eaten in Seychelles and it was a retreat after poor experience with food in Seychelles.
Best hotel at the La Digue, clean and modern, great nature around villas, very kind staff, everything were fast and sharp, really helpful and great responsibility. 5 star halfboard, romantic rooms.
The owner is an amazing person, he really helped alot and was very caring. The accommodation is my favorite in Seychelles as I stayed in about 4 others. Great value for money.
1. Located close to the jetty and one of the best beaches of Seychelles.
2. The hosts were very polite and sweet, even offered to provide breakfast early in the morning.
helpful host, great location, comfortable bed, seemed new and very clean! great value. I only wish we had booked Kai for the duration of our trip in La Digue.
Very nice atmosphere in the hotel, extremly nice personnel, good location, very spacious rooms observing the sea. Great food. Our best stay on Seychelles
