Great spot in Victoria, amazing views from the accommodation and next door to one of the best restaurants we visited in Mahe, Marie Antoinette. Room was very comfortable and breakfast provided was really good with a great selection of food.

EVERY THING at this establishment was excellent. From reception to leaving I was well taken care of. This place reminded me of an old Cuban Plantation Home. It was beautiful, open and with grate views of Victoria. I was only there one day and was very well surprised. I HOPE that I can get back there one day.

The owner was very helpful when we checked it. We only stayed two of the three nights. The owners were easy to work with. Water and snacks were provided. Parking was provided & the rooms were clean. The surrounding forest was a lush tropical paradise. They provided a nice breakfast.

Victoria was easily accessed, there were many markets and most people spoke English. There are frequent rain showers that lasted a few minutes which is a relief as it is hot and humid most of the time. The restaurants were great but for South Africans it worked out expensive to eat and drink. There were far too many cars on the road and simply no parking available in Victoria. lovely sights and scenery . The roads that lead over the mountain give way to absolutely breath taking views. The local busses and their drivers were a menace on the road but they provided value for money public transport.

Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too. You'll see it all within 2 hours. The tourist offer is pretty slim at best, while any tourist related item prices are very steep. In Seychelles, it's the beaches you'll enjoy, not the city atmosphere.

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an apartment (Villa Bella) on the North East point, which was perfect for us. The North East point is far away from any touristy areas, so you'll need a car, which I'd recommend anyways to go to the different beaches, trails, supermarket etc. So stay elsewhere than Victoria is my advice!NinaNorway - 6.0Scored 6.0
As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see.
As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see. It is the cultural centre of the country. But the restaurants are very average to poor. Be prepared to pay tourist rates for everything and forget about coffee, there is none that is drinkable. For those in a hurry, two days is enough to see Victoria.

It was quiet and peaceful, far from the hustle bustle of the city. The staffs, Emily and Tabrez were very helpful and guided us about the Island very well as we were the first time visitors to Seychelles. Since we couldn’t get a chance to get a car on rent so we took a bus and enjoyed the island view via bus and dropped off wherever we wanted to. This gave us the liberty to enjoy on our own.

Brian and Beryl made us feel very welcome during the entire stay. The room was well equipped and had a good standard, and we had a great view from our private balcony towards Silhouette island. We rented a car via the hotel to explore Mahe, which is something I can highly recommend doing! There is a convenvience store nearby, and some nice beaches and a few restaurants in walking distance (book a table in advance)

The view from the side of the mountain is calming and the terrasse welcoming. Great place to relax. Once I figured out the bus system it was easy to get around. One can easily walk to downtown but the uphill is probably not for everybody. Breakfast was wonderful and the dinners just lovely. The stuff is kind and welcoming and helpful. Kindly agreed to store our luggage for whole day, put our PC to the safe. There's a secure parking on the territory. The restaurant has a beautiful view to the Victoria and the marina. The bath room was large and clean. Shampoo and gel also was there. Good WiFi everywhere. The room has a lot of additional stuff, water, tea, fridge and so on... Highly recommend!
