Very beautiful scenery and peaceful.
Very beautiful scenery and peaceful. Asked for room change off the pond and was accommodated. Petting zoo animals sweet, but they need grooming and tended to better. Hotel restaurant food was Great. Most of the staff was too. The ducks were adorable and hung out with us by our room

The Amargosa Valley is a great value while visiting Death Valley. The rates here are significantly lower than in the park. Well worth the drive. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms and nice facilities. RV travelers can also take advantage of the RV park on site.

Nice small hotel near to Death Valley and the Area 51 Café 😉 with nice view on the mountains and on a small lake they built there and donkeys, ducks and geese. Small casino inside and a bar as well as restaurant and a shop 24/7.

You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley.
You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley. I went there to experience Death Valley and got an Area 51 and Alien Cathouse into the bargain.
Hidden gem is the Stateline Bar opposite the resort. good beer, local knowledge and a chance to leave your signature on the wall!

The room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the memory foam mattress. The pond area was charming. The inside was cute and kitschy. The ice machine had plenty of ice to scoop from the bin. Two restaurants and a little shop. No microwaves in the room but there is one in the shop that the public can use. Small fridges in the rooms. There also was an onsite gas station which was very nice to gas up before we went into Death Valley.
This hotel and casino is on the way to Death Valley from the east side and kind of quirky interesting with its pond, chapel and all that lawn in the middle of the desert. There was an amazingly talented cover duo that was playing in the casino restaurant area the night we stayed and that was really fun. They played requests with skill and had fun with the small audience.
Tarantula Ranch made our Trip . Watching the stars and a beautiful sunrise was magical . Don’t be put off my the name there are no spiders . This was a comfortable glamping experience with Shower and coffee facilities available. I wish the owners would expand and have these in every state it is far better experience than a hotel . 5 Stars from two happy Friends
We were on our way back to the PNW from Death Valley and scheduled a night at this hotel. The entire place is a hoot. It's Nevada, so there is a casino, we did not use the casino. We were there on a Friday night and there was live music and the restaurant was busy. We ordered salads to go and ate in our room. There is a huge "pool" in the back with statues.
One of the most memorable stays. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and it was the most dog friendly hotel. Lots of grass, a fenced patio area off our room, a gated swimming pool area with grass so our dog could run around without a leash, and a petting zoo with a bull, sheep, goats, and donkeys. Our dog loved this!
Very clean with a great modern saloon vibe. The bartender and front desk were very friendly. You can tell the hotel has history but everything was very well managed and in excellent condition. The cocktail prices were very friendly and we had a great time at the bar. We also enjoyed the various antiques the owners put on display for guests.
The hotel resembles an old casino / saloon - is well furnished and the facilities are complete (swimming pool, groceries store 24/7, restaurant and bar, casino, etc...). We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, with live music. Fair prices and good food (specially the cheesecake).
A slightly dated property, but there are very few choices in this remote area just east of Death Valley. But we were nonetheless pleased that the room was comfortable and clean. We had fun taking some pictures of the big cow in the back parking area of hotel.
The room was very comfortable and the hotel has a restaurant that is great for breakfast. The location is just 15 minutes from Death Valley National Park. The room rates were much cheaper than anything found in Death Valley.
Great location after a drive through Death Valley. Room very large and accessible. Staff were very welcoming. Grounds were well kept. Quirky and interesting hotel with a great story. We loved feeding the animals out front.
The location was great, close to Death Valley. The rate was pretty affordable so I was not expecting much. The room was a little outdated but was well kept and clean. We picked this hotel based on location and pet policy.
Restaurant in hotel, 30mins from death valley. The room was spacious. The gas station was next to the hotel with a reasonable price. The hotel was quite an experience.
