The location of the hotel was great. A lot of dining options within walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The free breakfast was another bonus and the view from the dining area was great. The staff was awesome and were able to accommodate an early check-in.

Love the country-style theme. Enjoyed the continental breakfast as well as the outdoor pool. The free room upgrade was great! The friendly, solicitous staff provided excellent guest service. The calls we made to the front desk were met with courteous rapid responses of excellence. The hotel location was so strategic, it made all the places we went to see very accessible, just a short drive away.

It was easy to get to. Location was great minutes from everything. Would recommend this place to everyone..

Chincoteague before Memorial Day and after Labor Day is delightful. The shops are open and traffic is minimal. During the summer season, there are a lot of tourists and traffic. There is only 1 way in and out of the island (other than your own boat) and it can quickly become very congested. Other than that, there are many restaurants with varied menus and price points. I recommend going to the Wildlife Refuge and driving the Loop. On this visit, we were able to see a large group of ponies during the drive! Another interesting place to visit is Wallops Flight Facility, which is just before you cross over onto Chincoteague. This is a NASA launch facility, and they have a very interesting display of rockets and other space-related items; you might even catch the launch of a rocket!

Quaint town with good food. Not a lot of people.
Quaint town with good food. Not a lot of people. If you are looking for night life or lots of thing to do, it's not for you. There are a couple of coffee shops, 1/2 a dozen restaurants, 2 mini golfs, a water park, and some small shops. if you want a quiet get away, then it's perfect.

Was a relaxing island. Felt the nature all around. We ate at the Pearl restaurant which had great food and a lovely view of the marsh. Our server pointed out the ponies in the distance and brought us binoculars to see them.

It is a very small town.
It is a very small town. There aren’t many restaurants and places to eat. Everything closes very early, so plan accordingly. it’s perfect for a short vacation, one or two days, if you live about 2 hrs away. It is nice if you like riding bikes, fishing, kayaking. We live in Richmond and it is the same distance to OBX. In my opinion, I would go to NC. The beach is nicer and you’ll have more to do. But if you live in northern Va o MD. It is perfect!
The staff is so wonderful and were able to accommodate our large family that traveled in for a wedding. The location is hands-down the best on the island - water views from every room; the dock is a nice perk; picnic tables to eat the hot free breakfast each morning; the pool is open late which is perfect for after spending the entire day walking through town or after a day at the beach. We recommended this hotel to our family and they exceeded everyone’s expectations! We all plan to meet here again in September.
I wasn't excepting much after I checked the Google reviews, but I was positively surprised! The staff was super helpful and nice, the accommodations were simple but comfortable and very clean. For breakfast, you could pick up a brown bag (a great idea for COVID times) and choose between different types of toast, biscuits or bagels, tea, coffee, fruits, and boiled eggs. It is a simple hotel, not a 5-star accommodation, but given that, it was great. I would definitely come back.
Low budget hotel. You get what you pay for. I wanted a cheap stay and it was fine for that. No pool, no breakfast, and tended to be on the old side for updates. Somewhat lack of cleanliness but not unlivable. No bed bugs, clean bed and room but not detailed. Dirt in hidden areas and spots on the ceiling and marks in the tub. If you want a pristine environment, you are in the wrong place. Lowest price for the area by far. Saved around $100 for two nights.
I really loved how the manager (Tammy Poole); the owner (Mr. T); and housekeeping made me feel like I was at home. I visited the property from South Carolina and they welcomed me with “Southern Hospitality”. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND visitors that’s visiting the island, to stay at the Days Inn Wyndham at Chincoteague Island. I will be revising in the near future. I give them one million Stars.💪🏾❤️😎
We stayed in a beautifully updated room, but overall the staff very incredibly lovely, many thoughtful touches around the place including access to bikes, picnic baskets and the likes for those on holiday, the breakfast was incredible, and the location is perfect for a stay in Chincoteague. Overall we had a lovely time! Love the special touches in the room including guide and history books.
The hotel location is so beautiful. We had a great little balcony with an amazing water view. The pool and the pier are wonderful. Breakfast was very good. We also enjoyed the hot tub and exercise area. The lady in the breakfast area and the cleaning staff were very nice. Despite having a few negative things to say later, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel was nicely located, very clean, comfy beds, great breakfast and friendly staff! Island Creamery is a MUST, best seafood restaurants we ate at were Steamers and The Village. Ropewalk had the best beachy atmosphere but food was not impressive. We truly enjoyed our stay, we will be back!
We’ve been vacationing in Chincoteague for ten years now. I think we’ve found our new go to motel. Rooms are comfortable with all the amenities you need. There is a lot of outdoor space you can use also. The summer kitchen is great for meals, if it’s not being used. Pool is nice too.
Hampton Inn is a beautiful hotel, with nice view, friendly and professional staff. The room temperture was very comfortable; my huaband and I loved it a lot. Very clean room with comfortable beds. The breakfast area is very nice; the pool and hot tub as well.
Super affordable compared to the other hotels. My gf and I were looking for something nice but wouldn’t break the bank. It had everything we needed and was a perfect place to stay. It was our first time at the island and we had a blast.
Classic 3 story plantation style motel located in the heart of Chincoteague. It is a two star with basic amenities. Beds were average but comfortable, very clean and had standard amenities. Very friendly staff and close to everything.
The staff was friendly and very helpful in recommending what to do and where to eat in Chincoteague. They are especially close to visiting the Assateague Island National Seashire and Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge.
The room was large with a nice balcony overlooking the sound. Parking was easy and close to the room. Chincoteague Island is small, so this property isn't far from anywhere that you want to go.
There was a good selection for the breakfast. The location for the breakfast was good. We love the availability of the lemon water. The hotel is very clean & staff is friendly.
Location. New security system. This used to be a really nice place. I've been going to Chincoteague for a long time. I was disappointed with the accommodations.
Friendly service, hot hotel breakfast, great location, clean and spacious rooms. Free parking and good Wifi signal. No major issues for a short 4 day stay.
