This was the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel. Still a nice place but it needs a face lift. The property needs a good renovation

I was advised by Paul Goddard that breakfast was between 07h00 and 09h00.
We arranged to come at 07h00 as I was playing golf at 08h30.
Paul got everything confused and when Lynne was heard to complain in the kitchen at 07h10 he challenged me.
Rather confusing as I was paying for the breakfast that was offered.
Unfortunately what was offered to my wife was not what she ordered. The next day we were not asked what we wanted and received scrambled eggs and bacon. I left on the third day without breakfast and instead enjoyed one at a facility in Robertson.

It is a nice and cozy unit with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and Cinette had extra sheets in the drawer if needed. There was also some rusks and milk in the fridge.
There is a table next to the basin to place your vanity case which is very convenient.
The unit is very safe, as it is in an estate just outside town.

Such a lovely friendly town. I remember when we were trapped there in September 2023 with the flooding. Everyone opened their homes, restaurants, churches etc for people to stay over. Amazing Town. I love it there.

Be prepared to do lots of wine tasting ie Van Loveren, Bon Courage and Four Cousins, to name but a very few. Robertson Wine on the River is a must visit. Most wine estates in one sport alongside the Breede River. You cannot get a better venue for wine tasting. Even boat trips on the river that include wine tasing. You have to visit Roberts at least once in your lfetime. I promise you will go back for more....wine !!!! Also one of the biggest self made mazes and one of the largest and most beautiful succulant gardens in the Southern Hemispere. Both are at a place called Soekershof just outside Robertson on the road to Ashton

Beautiful country town.
Beautiful country town. The road from Robertson to Bonnievale is one of the most scenic drives in RSA. The berg river runs close by and there are great Wine farms to be explored. Silverstrad Golf course is well maintaned and worth playing

Robertson is a beautiful, clean and well managed little town in the wine region of the Western Cape. There are a lot of famous and not so famous wine farms in the region who offer wine tastings. Most have restaurants or offer something to eat.

I really only visited Roberstson to attend a function at De Beuld (magnificent location and restaurant that is a definite must visit!) I was enchanted with the Roberstson countryside and would recommend that you book accommodation on the outskirts of town in the farming and wine producing areas, as opposed to in the town center. It truly is beautiful.

I did not Enjoy my stay at Cedar Lodge.
I did not Enjoy my stay at Cedar Lodge.
Garden was dirty and definitely not as shown in the photos.
Electronic Gate not working, Shower Head not 100%, Smell in the room and Overall not a Nice Experience.
It was a very convenient location in the centre of Robertson. The bed was super comfy and it had a great shower. The best thing about Leo's is the magnificent garden and beautiful old buildings. The hosts were lovely, very accommodating and friendly people, and right on tap for any questions. We were in the area for a wedding so appreciated being able to return at any time, with our own keys and access. Its also close to everything, including coffee shops and quick access to the main arteries to other destinations
All the staff were amazing. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Dining in the courtyard was just lovely. Gardens were really beautiful and well manicured. Outside areas to relax in were lovely and very peaceful. We stayed for a 2nd night and were upgraded to a beautiful room directly onto the large pool. Facial in the spa was amazing and so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this small hotel to others visiting Robertson. Recommend booking one of the large rooms.
Prosper is just outside of Robertson and feels like an oasis in a beautiful part of the Cape. Meandering around the farm and feeding the horses was a real treat. Jikkie was a great host and gave us a warm welcome, then left us to fully relax and treat our stay as if it were our own farm. And the cookies were really tasty :)
Very nice facility that is decorated stylishly while honoring its past. The location is ideal for exploring the Robertson wine route and close to restaurants. The house is 'guarded' by Fred, the local resident Alpaca, that can be found near the front door. The owner is very responsive and helpful and a great place to stay
The house is beautiful! We enjoyed the big spacious rooms and the pool saved us from the extreme heat in Robertson! The host was wonderful, she was easy to reach and sent us many tips and suggestions for our time there! Absolutely wonderful place to rent for a bigger family or a group of friends! Definitely recommended!
The farm cottages were in a great environment. They were very well kitted out with everything you could need for self catering. The standard of accommodation, linens etc was superb. It was great to be able to walk around the farm. Staff were courteous, welcoming and extremely professional in their dealings with us.
We loved absolutely everything about this place. The stylish finishes to the amazing service received. We stay over in Robertson every 4 to 5 months and can't believe we never gave House of Pinardt a go. Definitely a must stay venue. We have found our home away from home. It's a little gem
The view is beautiful. The locality is great - many wine farms in close distance and amenities (Worcester and Robertson close by). Wildlife including invertebrates and birds - very good. The space and isolation provide the relaxation needed. Hosts are very friendly.
Beautiful old farm feeling. Nice and clean. Beautiful setting. Relaxing feeling. House is nice and cool and well ventilated. Entertainment area is beautiful. Beds are comfortable. Beautiful views. Very well located. Hist is very accommodating and friendly.
The house was perfect, just the break we needed. Location perfect, its really worth the money-value. We also got to do some exploring on the Safari Hop On - Hop Off - was the best way to explore the different wine farms around Robertson..
The building and the location were stunning, it made for a very comfortable, peaceful 3 night stay. It was a home from home and gave us a good opportunity to revisit the Robertson area which has plenty to do.
The cottage was well equipped and clean, with sufficient space between them for privacy. Nice bonus was the generator on the farm, so no loadshedding! Overall great value for money.
