It was scrupulously clean, freshly decorated, the bed was very comfortable. There were tea/coffee making facilities, bath gel, shampoo etc, hairdryer, even iron and ironing board. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The hosts friendly and kind. A very safe environment for a solo traveller. A short walk from the main road where there are busies to and from central Edinburgh. I would go back anytime and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Very helpful and clearly well trained. The decor throughout was beautiful - a mix of brass and polished wood reminiscent of grand voyages, and art nouveau. Tasteful yet practical. I would thoroughly recommend a stay. It was quiet, peaceful and luxurious. No boat rocking at all.
