Room was huge and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also great with good water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was wonderful, the breakfast room is just great. Walking through the castle gardens when regular visitors have left is very relaxing.

Beautiful home, extremely spacious room with the comfiest bed ever! (blue room in the house) Our hostess was lovely, and full of information (touristic and historical) about the village. Breakfast was really nice - in the beautiful, period-correct dining room.

Set in a Grade II listed 17th-century barn, Tonge Barn is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and offers individually designed rooms with wooden beams or red brick walls. The setting was beautiful, right by the river, lots of wildlife and very peaceful. Breakfast was fantastic, quality ingredients, well cooked and we were lucky enough to have a microwave and fridge in our room, which meant we were able to have wine that was perfectly chilled! All in all a fabulous relaxing stay and would definitely go back.

Absolutely beautiful building/accommodation, set in a lovely estate that has everything you coulld possibly need. The whole experience felt cosy, clean and relaxing. The beds were super comfy, the living space was pleasant, but the biggest highlight was the hot tub! Exactly what myself and my family (and doggies!) needed out of a mini-break away for my Dad's 60th Birthday. The hosts themselves were lovely and attentive. The young gentlemen in particular who showed us to the accommodation was most helpful and welcoming. And thank you so much to the gentlemen (I think, Ian?) who came round on our last evening to let us know that no one was checking in next day and we could take our time in the morning :) definitely didn't want to leave!

Offering a garden and garden view, The Cow Shed at Quex Park Estate is set in Birchington, 24 km from Canterbury Cathedral and 24 km from Deal Castle. Had everything u need for a great weekend. Local farm shop and restaurant on the side with friendly staff. Definitely will be back again!
