With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The location is perfect for local walks, from a short ride from Keswick even by bus. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant is just a delight, the food is absolutely delicious and the breakfast is also top notch. The staff is very friendly and very good in making you feel welcomed and taken care off. I would definitely come back and would definitely recommend it.

Boasting garden views, Lake District cottage in 1 acre gardens off M6 offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 26 km from Askham Hall. Very nice place,very clean,everything u need are there,specialy the bathrooms are amazing with bery strong warm water ,very clean,the garden is very big and have little water lake to thriw stine,suitable for kids.We are very pleased.Highly recommened🥰

Offering garden views, Barton Hall Country House is an accommodation located in Pooley Bridge, 30 km from Derwentwater and 37 km from World of Beatrix Potter. Lovely accommodation and staff. Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features.... Breakfast at the Grasmere Brewery was lovely. I actually liked walking down the street from the cottage for breakfast. We loved Grasmere - the winding streets, the surrounding hills, the shops. I had chosen Grasmere as a place to stay because we wanted to spend a couple of days in the Lake District and I had read that it was one of the prettiest towns. It was exactly what we hoped for. Richard, the proprietor of Lake View Country House, was so nice and helpful in every way. He made us feel comfortable, welcome, and gave us a fantastic recommendation for a day hike near the house, and for restaurants.

Located in the heart of the Lake District and just 5 minutes' drive from Ambleside, Foxghyll Country House offers free WiFi access and free on-site parking. the owner was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast menu has lots of selection to choose and delicious. room and bathroom were clean.

With a beautiful riverside location, Rydal Lodge Hotel offers elegant Lake District accommodation, 2 miles from the centre of Ambleside. The place felt very homely, beautiful and located close to Mount Rydal. Breakfast service is amazing. Mark and Helena are excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We liked the location & the views. Breakfast was delicious & fresh. Employees were so kind, respectful & so helpful. We enjoyed the whole experience & we look forward to come back again to enjoy your coffee that we didn’t have enough time to drink it although it smelled so nice! ;)

Overlooking Lake Windermere, Lindeth Fell offers impressive views and free parking, just 5 minutes from Windermere Ferry Crossing. The staff and owners all consistently went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, as well as to help with directions and/or recommendations for walks and restaurants in the Lake District. The breakfast was delicious and healthy, with a variety of choices, and we received very pleasant service from all involved. The hotel building was quaint and beautifully appointed and the large garden was absolutely lovely. A bonus was meeting Alfie and Rosie, the adorable and affectionate resident Border Terriers!
