With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The location is perfect for local walks, from a short ride from Keswick even by bus. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant is just a delight, the food is absolutely delicious and the breakfast is also top notch. The staff is very friendly and very good in making you feel welcomed and taken care off. I would definitely come back and would definitely recommend it.

Boasting garden views, Lake District cottage in 1 acre gardens off M6 offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 26 km from Askham Hall. Comfortable, cleanliness, hot tub and good heater. Good choice and good price. Nice stay. Will come back.

Offering garden views, Barton Hall Country House is an accommodation located in Pooley Bridge, 30 km from Derwentwater and 37 km from World of Beatrix Potter. Lovely accommodation and staff. Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast that catered to all tastes, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features.... Breakfast at the Grasmere Brewery was lovely. I actually liked walking down the street from the cottage for breakfast. We loved Grasmere - the winding streets, the surrounding hills, the shops. I had chosen Grasmere as a place to stay because we wanted to spend a couple of days in the Lake District and I had read that it was one of the prettiest towns. It was exactly what we hoped for. Richard, the proprietor of Lake View Country House, was so nice and helpful in every way. He made us feel comfortable, welcome, and gave us a fantastic recommendation for a day hike near the house, and for restaurants.

Located in the heart of the Lake District and just 5 minutes' drive from Ambleside, Foxghyll Country House offers free WiFi access and free on-site parking. the owner was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast menu has lots of selection to choose and delicious. room and bathroom were clean.

With a beautiful riverside location, Rydal Lodge Hotel offers elegant Lake District accommodation, 2 miles from the centre of Ambleside. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We liked the location & the views. Breakfast was delicious & fresh. Employees were so kind, respectful & so helpful. We enjoyed the whole experience & we look forward to come back again to enjoy your coffee that we didn’t have enough time to drink it although it smelled so nice! ;)

Amidst the scenery of the Lake District, this family-run bed and breakfast provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the fells. The BnB was everything I needed it to be. It was clean, friendly, comfortable, good value and relaxing. The breakfast was simple and delicious. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Overlooking Lake Windermere, Lindeth Fell offers impressive views and free parking, just 5 minutes from Windermere Ferry Crossing. It was a long drive inside from the main highway but once we reached the place , it was a hidden gem with absolutely stunning views. The breakfast was very nice with fresh ingredients, my husband loved the fresh salmon on his toast and I enjoyed the vegan grilled plate . The view from the restaurant was to die for . We had a lovely stay 😊
