I love Campbell River mainly because our daughter and our granddaughter live there but also because it is a beautiful location and close to Quadra Island where we have spent many holidays at the First Nations campsite at Rebecca Spit.

Had a fantastic stay at Campbell River.
Had a fantastic stay at Campbell River. Our room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful timber ceiling. Loved watching whales, otters, geese and seagulls whilst we ate breakfast, sipped on drinks at the bar or over dinner. Beautiful property. So peaceful. Drove to Gold River. Amazing road with beautiful scenery. This is real wilderness. We just loved this area

Nice place for a staycation.
Nice place for a staycation. Went for a performance at the local theatre. Stayed one night. Easy to get lost, very spread out. But scenic, hills and lots of trees. Nice waterfront shopping area. Tried Potstickers, very tasty.

Love the Ocean, walking along the beach picking driftwood.
Love the Ocean, walking along the beach picking driftwood. Really liked the warfs with all the boats. Ate at Doc side Fish & Chips but wasn't very good. Bought a Hamburger & Onion Rings at Ripside Pub for $28 & it was burnt & Onion Rings.overcooked & Hard. Tried Pita Pit & it was awesome. I would not stay at my previous place & avoid some bad restaurant food. Yes it's easy to get around town.
The owner and her daughter were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The #302 suite they assigned to us was fantastic. I booked thorough a booking service and my follow-up by phone was very friendly, personal and helpful, It was obvious that they did there very best to give us the best they could and did their best to make our stay and even visit to Campbell River as good as possible.
We got a lovely welcome text from the property while we were on our way up Island; the cabin was super clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable, all the necessities in the kitchen and nice little touches too by the owners. Right across the road from the beach and convenient location to everything in Campbell River. I would definitely stay again!
Chateau Riverside is located in a perfect site in Campbell River. Close to highways, the ocean, river, shopping, fishing and other activities. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well outfitted. We stayed in the two bedroom suite on the ground floor so had a nice patio overlooking the river. quiet at night.
Wow! This is the nicest comfort inn I've ever seen! Top notch, well designed, comfortable beds, great staff. And all at a bargain price. This is definitely a great spot to stay in Campbell River before or after a whale watch or kayak trip. You won't be disappointed! The property is brand spanking new!
Wonderful location on the Campbell River! We were delighted to have arrived just in time to see the Pink Salmon run right in front of our balcony view. Our 2-bedroom/bathroom suite was well appointed and very comfortable. Full kitchen. Very clean!
The room was spacious and comfortable. All facilities in the hotel looked to be in excellent, "near new" condition. The breakfast area was attractive and the selection of food was very good. The front desk staff were very welcoming.
I liked the location. Easy access to the park, marina and restaurants. Hotel appearance is very presentable from the outside and much more inside. Staffs were great specially those who were in the dining area during free breakfast.
Booking.com only allows 4 pics, but the bathroom sink & mirror was clean and new.
Full sized fridge (not hotel sized) so great if u wanna cook or rent monthly. Spacious room.
The microwave was surprisingly cleaner than the room.
Easy location, next to 50 Parallel Tap and Grill for dinner and drinks, across the street from the water and a nice paved walking path. The hotel had a generous breakfast selection, including waffles, eggs, sausage.
This hotel was clean and conveniently located right across from the beach. The staff was very courteous, friendly and accommodating. The building is older but is very clean and well maintained. Cozy and friendly.
The hotel is an old fishing lodge. The location on the river is excellent for fishing. We saw other guests fishing in the river. It’s a quaint, old, sprawling, rustic building with log walls and ceiling.
Very enjoyable stay in a quiet neighbourhood within easy driving distance of downtown Campbell River….apartment suited our requirements as a three generation family….
I always stay at the Anchor Inn when in Campbell River. The staff are friendly….the rooms are comfortable and you can’t beat the beautiful view. Nice dinner too.
This was our second stay at Painters Lodge and it did not disappoint! Fabulous hotel with wonderful, friendly staff in a great location - highly recommended!
