There was a clear police presence while we were there. Nothing untoward happening. The bathroom was roomy and learn. Good water pressure and heated water. With three beds in the room, there was enough room to walk in set up your luggage and still have a decent passage to and from your bed. Everything seemed new.
View out the window pleasant.

Booking .com said a room was available.
I had arrived after midnight.
When I called Hostal Quinta Santillan they informed me that there was no room available.
I could not stay there and had to search for another room.

Great location,,great breakfast, free shuttle to the airport.
The hotel is far from the airport. I got into Madrid very late and had to pay €35 for a taxi to get there. Luckily the hotel is open all night and the staff are very friendly/helpful. The room's furniture is dated and the bed is narrow, but the room was very clean, with good hot water pressure. I was able to take the metro (1 minute away) into Madrid to catch a train. Good breakfast too.
The staff was incredible! Super friendly and helpful! The receptionist in the end recommended the bus 822 (I think it was - please confirm with them) that goes from the area where the hotel is (San Fernando de Henares) directly to the airport. The schedule is weird like only once an hour or so but it only costs 2€ so for travellers on a budget it is important to know.
I’m really trying my hardest to find something that I liked at this hotel.. maybe the fact that it was a bit close to the airport but I still had to pay almost 30€ for Uber to get there and another 30€ to get back. Honestly I wouldn’t have slept worse at the airport and I would have saved 110€!
Second and third floor are completely renovated with the look and feel of a 4 star hotel. Comfortable beds, brand new everything! Reception Staff were amazing. We used Uber to get back and forth to the airport (11-18 euros). Would definitely return.
I like the location but the hotel is not new and all rooms that we've checked in before was not so good they need to upgrade their rooms specially the colchón or bed also the bathroom theres no floor matt so after I we take a bath the floor is wet
Only 4km from Barajas airport. Fast, new line 7 into the city. Hotel is opposite the metro station. Bar full of locals and lots of cheap food. Really nice rooms. TV multi channel. Good bathroom.
