Location was on a busy road, but we slept well as there was not much traffic overnight.I am a light sleeper and it was fine for me.
We didn’t eat at the hotel. Bar was nice and relaxing in a busy town on market day. We were very grateful to escape inside and have a drink.
Beautiful patisserie next door for croissants and coffee in the morning.

Superb hosts, great location and amenity of apartment lovely.
Located 50 meters from the heart of Isle sur la Sorgue, Le Clos Violette and the 11 D'Aglaé, are two private mansions, nestled one in front of the other on either side of Denfert Rochereau street.

I stayed in late December, so not generally ideal for tourists. Don't be put off if you need to travel in winter. This is a great little town and surrounding area. It is full of history and character with very friendly locals. Shops are well-stocked with some intriguing items for sale. The centre of town is generally traffic free but there is plenty of free public parking on the fringe of the island. There are plenty of health services, beauty services and even a hospital. The Thursday market should not be missed. The town changes character in the late afternoon when locals come out into the last of the winter sun for their aperitifs. I was sad to leave and plan to return soon.

A lovely little town - the Venice of Provence!
A lovely little town - the Venice of Provence! Big enough to offer a variety of things to do and small enough to explore over a few days watch out for Sundays - it's packed with people for the antique market and all car parking spaces disappear. Some wonderful restaurants and small shops and well located for exploring the Luberon.

If you don't need to wash your clothes, this is a great choice - in a convenient central location and nicely decorated rooms. But, there was no washing machine as described online and we were told to go to a 15min-away laundromat that could take credit card, but there was no way to pay by credit card. free parking in several nearby public parking places.

Charming village; busy and colourful Sunday market; beautiful weather. Plenty of bistros and restaurants. Infrequent public transport: it is important to obtain the SNCF railway timetable and the 906 bus service timetable (and read them carefully!).

This is a medieval town built on an island in a gorgeous spring-fed river. As the river reaches town, it splits at least 5 ways, going in double paths around both sides, witt other old little canals up the middle. There used to be 70 mills in town, and there are still over a dozen big old mill wheels in operation. The town is big enough to have lots of food and shopping choices (and major antique center) and small and fortunate enough to have free parking. Most areas are pedestrian only. Renting bikes, seeing cute neighboring towns, seeing Fountaine Vaucluse, renting canoes to go down the river. . .
Great place!

The location was perfect! It was a great place to stay in the middle of our trip so we could do laundry. Parking was free and very close. The proprietors were great at communicating with us so everything went smoothly. It was very hot in France while we were there and the air conditioning worked great! L’Isle-sur-La-Sorgue is an idyllic town with great shopping and restaurants. We used this as our home base for visiting other towns in the area and it worked wonderfully. The Sunday market was a favorite!
It was amazing - a home away from home - we could live here - fantastic (and I mean fantastic) location right on the La Sorgue river - great shops, restaurants, cafes and of the course the Sunday Markets - easy road trips to the Luberon- this place is the perfect Provence base- the people in the delicatessen downstairs (Olive et Raisin) were lovely and the made the best morning coffee and afternoon gin cocktail for that pick me up after a day of experiencing the region - could not recommend more highly
We stayed at this hotel in 2005 and remembered it as a great place to stay and that opinion hasn't changed. Great location, just across the river from the old town with an easy walk to most of the restaurants in town. Large, well kept rooms, good beds, large bathroom, plenty of hot water, elevator, friendly and accommodating staff, and secure parking in the hotel parking lot or underground. Excellent breakfast at extra cost. Great value for the money and I highly recommend this hotel.
maison zola is in the perfect spot, minutes away from the town centre, and near to shops and ameneties and has everything you could need for comfort and would suit families or couples. the pool is fab, and the terrace ideal for sun or shade. the town is delightful, with lots to see and do. secure parking just opposite was perfect as the town is busy and parking at a premium.
The property is a central location for touring Provence. The town is quaint with good restaurants. While the house was super clean and comfortable the best part of the stay was having the hosts Valerie and Stephane living next door.
They are a fantastic couple who really make your stay very pleasant and enjoyable. I thank them for all of the attention they gave us.
One of the best things about this apartment was the location. It was right in the heart of the old town of l’Isle sur la Sorgue. It was also sparkling clean and decorated in a hip, quirky way which we loved. The covered outdoor patio was also a treat. I highly recommend 54 la Provence!
Beautiful renovation of hotel in an historic building next to the river. Very convenient for walking to all the sights of town. Friendly and hospitable management and a very good breakfast with lots of choices. Radiant heating in floors kept the room comfortable.
A lovely hotel we have stayed at several times before. Perfectly located but quiet. Great bedrooms, even the standard doubles. Decorated in great taste. Super restaurant, nice comfortable bar. Friendly staff. Private secure parking. Highly recommended
A large, beautiful 300 year old house that's been turned into a new hotel with a classic design. The young owners are very kind and the breakfast in the garden is delightful. It is like being guests in the home of a local.
The hotel was lovely and although very centrally located, it was exceptionally quiet. I heard no noise whatsoever from the street or other guests. The breakfast in the courtyard was a wonderful start to the day.
Sophie is a great host. Passionate about France and her property and the little town too. Lots of great recommendations to sightseeing and bakery. Clean and centrally located place. Super convenient
Best property in which we stayed over 5 months inin France. Great location. Park in the village lot, Parking du Portalet, and walk everywhere. Amazing shower. Comfortable bed.
