This is a very beautiful hotel. The rooms are quite small but they are really well decorated.
The location is very beautiful as well and very close to the town center where you can find all sorts of stores and restaurants.
You can choose a time to receive the breakfast and what you want to receive at the moment you check in so you don't need to worry about it in the morning.
The bed was very comfortable and it was overall a very calm area.
I can imagine on a sunny day the view from the balcony is even more beautiful, however it was very enjoyable even when it was raining.
Staff seemed very eager to help with whatever we needed.

Charming village with traditional stone houses. Sample local products (local cheese called formaela, pasta, sweets, cheeses, wood products, woven rugs). Park outside of the town as only one road passes through and it's narrow. It gets crowded at night and on weekends especially during the ski season. Walking is best here!

Right in the heart of Arachova this was the coziest place I’ve ever been to! It was so comfortable. Not only did the style of the inn and rooms make you feel like never wanting to leave but the staff made you feel right at home. As soon as you enter you are welcomed by the sweet smell of cinnamon and smiling faces. It’s comfortably warm all the time but if you can, get a room with a fireplace. It will be prepared for you every day for your whole stay, all you have to do is light a match and sit cozily by the fire. It truly was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone to stay at Afanos!

We ate there, we hiked nearby following suggestions of the owners. The only problem was that we only had 2 nights there. I would stay for longer if you like to hike and you appreciate nature and great food and wine.

The place is very sweet village. Nearby Delphi for the Temple of Apollo. Great restaurants and little shops. Near Galaxidi for secluded beaches too. Lived our stay at Nefeles and such lovely hosts. Great breakfast and recommendations

Picturesque alpine like village in central greece approximately 100 miles from Athens. Vibrant village centre with lots of dining and drinking establishments. A short drive up the mountain towards parnassos you come to a valley abundant with wooden chalets and a few eateries that is more reminiscent of the swiss alps or colorado rather than Greece. Definately woth a visit especially in winter.

Really lovely little town – the people were all so friendly.
Really lovely little town – the people were all so friendly. It felt like a real community and almost like a big family, where everybody knew each other and everybody was happy to meet newcomers to the town. It's easy to walk around without a car and you can get a taxi easily if you want to venture further (for example, to Delphi). Our favourite places to eat were Fterólakka (Φτερόλακκα in Greek) and Zambas (Ζάμπας) café. Try the local cheese, "formaela" – like a much tastier version of halloumi. (Zambas café did the best version of this we tried anywhere in town.) It's also well worth walking up the steps to the church at the top of the town – the view is amazing and it's so quiet and refreshing up there!
Very nice hotel with a good situation. Quiet (even durind Easter period and feasts of Saint Georges / Orthodox calendar, pay attention) but not far from all facilities, shops, tavernas, ... and the center of Arachova. May be a bit difficult to find a parking area during this period but we had no problem. Very large and clean room with a beautiful mountain view. Buffet for Breakfast, all U need.and delicious. We'll be back. Close to the archaeological site (and village) of Delphes.
This place is confusing. We thought we were reserving a suite and went to a place just out of town called White Hills. We were told that the hotel was in town. We got there and were taken to a small basic room with a teeny bathroom. It was very clean, quiet, with a nice balcony. There was no formal registration process and no one at reception-just a woman who showed us to the room. Internet was not working. The location was great and it was just adequate for one night.
This was our favorite vacation rental home we stayed at during our road trip through Greece. We're a family of five and there was more than enough room for us. The beds and lines were super comfortable. The view from the HUGE deck was amazing. The hostess was amazing and even made us homemade breakfast. The location was amazing. Parking was easy peasy, which isn't true of most places in Arachova. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
This place is absolutely dreamy! The decor is beautiful, the room was clean and very cozy and it had all the special attentions you could imagine. The owners are very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities. The breakfast is definitely worth it: fresh orange juice, fresh pastries and bread! Greek yogourt and more, it was one of our best stays in all of Greece and would definitely come again!
friendly staff. Quick reply through the Booking.com app before arrival. I also enjoyed that I could have the pool area by myself.
The breakfast was great. Good selection.
Stunning view when you choose room with view. Or when you’re in the pool area, you’ll have a great sight.
Good temperature in the room.
Spacious room.
The hotel is about 1 km walk from the center of the village. Good parking options at the hotel.
The host John was great. We were driving and finding his place would be difficult, but John knew that. His mother met us at a convenient location and guided us there. We had no trouble finding our way out of town afterwards. By the way, we traveled in November, visiting Hokios Loukas Monastery and Delphi. Perhaps the town of Delphi would make more sense but found the town dead. Arachova is much more interesting.
Our stay at Paeonia Arachova was a pleasant surprise. From the beautiful and cozy design of the hotel and the rooms to the friendly staff and amazing breakfast, everything about this place felt inviting and homely. It was a lovely and comfortable stay, and we can't wait to be back again!
The location is spectacular, and the house is charming, but the very best part is the host. He helped us with everything-including the flattest tire I have ever seen on our rental car-and just so caring and gentlemanly. We are two weeks in Greece and this is my family’s favorite stop.
A cozy apartment off the main street in Arachova. Easy to access. Kind hosts. The main reason we chose the apartment was the low price for our family of 6. We all slept comfortably in the small 2 bedroom apartment. The hosts were ready to help with anything we needed.
What a beautiful hotel in a quiet side street in the charming village of Arachova! The entrance, stairs and floors are made of exquisite marble and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The host was extremely friendly and engaging!
New and stylish chalets surrounded by forest and fields but also close to the Parnassos ski resort and Arachova with its nice restaurants and shops.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.
The place had character and so beautifully decorated. It was super cozy and comfortable. The up side was the view which was probably the best view we saw on our trip in Arachova.
Upgraded for free and one of the friendliest receptionists I've ever met. Great breakfast too. With clear skys at night, you can even see the milky way from the hotel grounds.
+ Beautiful view and landscape
+ Quiet quarter, near to Arachova and Mont Parnasse
+ Clean and space housse, good for family or big group
