I really enjoyed the stay. The host, Paolo, was incredibly helpful and attentive and the space was great. Sadly we didn't stay in Nuoro for long and we left acknowledging this was the best place we had stayed during our trip to Sardinia. The place was very centrical and, again, Paolo made us feel at home.
Would definitely recommend and come back!

Beautiful place with lovely people. I felt safer than other cities I have visited. But obviously, you can never be too cautious. Festival of Christ the Redeemer is well worth attending (end of August) - parades and traditional dancing and musci. Also hike up to the statue of the same name is beautiful. Interesting ethnographic museum to visit.

We especially appreciated the fact that heating in the house was functional (end of March - it is sunny and warm throughout the day, but it can get chilli in the evenings) and that we could use the washing machine. We were pleasantly surprised with breakfast options and coffee and tea selection. It had been very kind of the host that she offered as a gift the map which we took by mistake. Recommendation definitely.

Located near the top of a mountain, the views are breathtaking and you can get fresh water straight from a spring tap near the facility. The room we stayed in was large, clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is made with local products, most of which is homemade.
