If you have a car this is a fantastic location. Less than 30 minutes away to Lisbon and short drives to bigger shops and malls. The area itself was super nice and calm and right next to a beach which wasn't too crowded.

An extremely charming ‘local Portuguese’ town with many excellent restaurants on the Tagus river estuary across the vasco de gama bridge from Lisbon. an easy jaunt by car or by the ferry at Montijo. This is a lovely relaxing village, not a place for nightlife and excitement; for that you have to go to lisbon. With that said, the bartenders at Pelourinho make a great Manhattan!JohnUnited States of America

Staff on reception were excellent - so so helpful, especially helping make bookings, speaking to taxi drivers and with our pre flight covid testing. Pool guys were good too, treated us like adults/used common sense.
