Pristine…loved the decor. It was quiet. Easy check in. Loved that it had a barn door which separated the 2 bedroom and gave privacy.

This is an incredibly well-equipped house with comfortable beds and beautiful views. The location is quiet. We saw deer and wild turkeys daily. The property is within driving distance of the most interesting sights in southeast Utah. We visited Monument Valley, Bears Ears National Monument, Hovenweep National Monument, Newspaper Rock, and Gooseneck State Park.

Well maintained, nice tent camping platform and shade awning. Great bath house. Water and electricity at the site even if I did not need was nice to know for next time.

Blanding location was perfect for our traveling and touring plans. Motel worked out fine. Adjacent restaurant had tasty choices and very busy. The Blanding welcome center was spot-on helpful to confirm our initial touring route.

The location was convenient.
The location was convenient. Moab is about an hour drive and the 4 corners is near by. Great place for enjoying outdoor activities and then return to a nice, cozy home. The views are great, the nightly stars shine, and the jacuzzi was amazing. There are comfortable beds and you can cook if needed, or grab a bite to eat in town. The host is great and readily available if needed.

Pleasant small community for road stop. Friendly residents. Wonderful mountain views. Nice place as a base for outdoor vacation activities.
Not many restaurant choices. More so in the evening. Can't comment about the day time. Overnight stay only.

Stopover location only for most I'm sure but the Stone Lizard was an excellent place to stop for the night. Comfortable rooms, good facilities topped off by a spacious garden to enjoy and a very good, unique breakfast which did the job. Excellent hotel in an uninteresting town!

Blanding is small and there is not a lot to do in town, but it is a wonderful base for exploring southeastern Utah. The biggest negative is that dining options are very limited, but small towns can only support so much. It is much less crazy than Moab and has a slower, more comfortable feel. It is a wonderful base for exploring Bears Ears, the Abajos, Hovenweep, and Monument Valley. There is a lot to do and a lot to see.

Blanding's location near great hiking locations is its only attraction. It has a supermarket and two bland restaurants. Bring your own alcohol. We stayed at a condo that was clean, spacious and had a kitchen where we could relax, make breakfast, sleep and shower and get a burger in town. That's it.
We loved the Blue Sage Inn. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and smelled wonderful. Beds were comfortable. The walk-in tiled shower was great and the bathroom had a super soft rug. They even provided a small package of items such as make-up remover, q-tips, and an emery board. They had complimentary bottles of water in the mini-fridge and the to go breakfast was good. We will definately stay here again! It’s a must stay if you are in Blanding, Utah.
Turns out this is a Super 8 which was fine with me. You know what you're getting. It's a basic room. Comfortable bed, good shower, perfectly clean, good wifi, friendly staff. Breakfast was very basic but I wasn't expecting any so it was a nice surprise. Perfect for a quick stop right off the highway and then getting an early start the next morning.
The hotel room has a unique set up with a western look which we really liked. We had a room with a separating wall between the two queen beds which was nice. We also liked the hard wood floor and stone tiles instead of old carpets in most other hotels.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rate was really good. We had an oversized room plus a kitchen. The location is great, hotel was easy to find, and having the restaurant in the same parking lot was so convenient.
Beautiful art, comfortable bed, exceptional breakfast, nice shower and quality shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion. I'll definitely stay here anytime I'm passing through Blanding. Note there is some road noise but it did not bother me.
Stone Lizard was very quiet centrally located in the small town of Blanding. Just down the street from a State Park with a wonderful museum. Great gardens and fresh breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff great bathrooms.
Freshly renovated motel, very clean, super quiet. A great stop to explore this amazing region. I've stayed at other motels in the area and none of them come close to the Blue Sage Inn.
Strongly recommended
This was an excellent place to stay in Blanding. The condo far exceeded my expectations. It was roomy, clean, and believe it or not, the beds were comfortable. We have all been so pleasantly surprised!
If I found a slice of heaven like this home and property, we would buy it and live their happily for the rest of our life. Blanding is a close-knit, safe community which doesn't exist any where else.
Great looking hotel interior and the cat was a bonus. Check in lady was very nice, check out staff and kitchen staff not too friendly.
Very comfortable and recently updated
Great WiFi
Modern decor, quiet, near ice machine and pool area.
Friendly staff. Breakfast was better than expected, eggs, sausage, usual continental breakfast menu.
The room was sorta clean, it had broken tiles in the bathroom, the table was dirty and sticky, it was cheap and the AC worked so its fine, just not great.
