It's a beautiful city. There is a lot to do if you are a traveller. Figure out their bus and metro stations, and you can get to anywhere except the mountains. Spend time understanding what you would like to do and accordingly get to the places. Exchange cash in local currency, almost everyone uses local money. YandexGo is a must for the beginning.

In Uzbek we need adopter to charge as our charger pin does not fit. Stay at Samarkand, bukhara, khiva & finally Tashkent city. Friendly & honest people. Clean city good weather. We enjoyed our stay in Uzbekistan. Prices of taxi water and food was pocket friendly. I couldn’t try horse meat, if you wish you can. Plov is good. Ice cream is good. Their art is nice.

Don't linger here, treat it as a transport hub, the city has lost what charm it had from the soviet times and is now full of ugly construction plots, soulless glass boxes, and honking cars. Also, the city is craaazily russified, it's just sad to see these bits of colonial rule still doing strong(
Just get out of here as soon as you can and explore the real charm of Uzbekistan elsewhere.

Every person in Tashkent goes out of the way to help you though the language is a barrier. If they see you need help they volunteer and come forward to help. Very friendly and hospitable locals. I would love to visit again for the cleanliness and the friendly attitude of the locals. The local cuisine was great.

It's just like any other big cities that there are museums, markets, monuments etc. I really enjoy the food in Tashkent, yummy and fresh. It's good that many people I encounter get to speak English and that saves my trouble.
It is in the city centre and I used to do my morning walk around Amit Taimur square. The are is filled with monumental buildings, restaurants and greenery. It is a recently inaugurated property and easy to locate due to adjacent KFC. Breakfast is decent with fresh fruits, vegetables, bakery and some cooked stuff. Rooms are clean and well maintained. It was my first visit to Tashkent and I have no comparison to make. If compared with a 5 star, this hotel is purely utilitarian and no tinge of luxury.
Well, after I finished from visiting Bukhara and Samarkand I decided to chose this hotel because it's close from the airport. The staff of the hotel were amazing they are helpful. The breakfast is nice and has variety choices. The owner of the hotel he invited me to lunch with his friends and that's makes me so happy and I completely understand that Uzbek people is one of the best hospitality in the world. I enjoyed staying there in Uzbekistan and I look forward to coming back ASAP
I can’t even begin to say how much I enjoyed staying here. By far the best hotel in Uzbekistan. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the bathrooms are very modern and everything smells clean. Breakfast is delicious with fresh melon, sweet pastries and bread and eggs. It’s also super close to the metro and there are nice cafes and shops nearby. Anvar is so kind and considerate. When I come back to Tashkent, I’ll definitely stay here. A special place run by very special people.
The hotel is really nice, very clean and the location is great not so far from airport . The room was spacious, a lot of place for my son to play with his toys , really nice staff at reception. We really enjoyed the breakfast ,the kitchen personal
even made a pizza 🍕 only for us .It was nice to see that the people who work at the hotel tried their best to make us feel good during our stay.It was our first time visiting Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 and we really loved it .
I really liked the breakfast and the location was very comfortable to find. The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. Everything was perfect. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting to Tashkent
Great hotel, impressive decorations and spacious room. Additional features like heated floors makes stay great experience. Swimming pool was much bigger than it is on the photos. Very good prices of food in hotel restaurant, fast room service. I appreciate the attitude of staff. Very helpful. Special thanks to Nozim, great guy, very hospitable, always smiling, had fun chitchat with him. He should get a rise ;)
Probably best place to stay in Tashkent
I was on a trip to Uzbekistan because of a love affair. I am Israeli name Isaac I visited in Tashkent. This Hotel is amazing The beautiful wonderful girl working at the Reception of this hotel called a taxi who was kind hearted helpful and it was a very big very nice VIP room that she reserved for me. Thank you very much. Everything was very good I will visit your hotel again soon nice good hearted moche MOXE
I like everything… Anvar ( the owner ) is so nice and kindest person, he always happy to answer me and help. Breakfast was good. Staff are nice exactly woman who served breakfast ( she is really friendly and always smile ) location good and you can walk around till next mall and magic city. Quite safe area . In my opinion this guesthouse equals 4 stars hotel .
Hip and ultra modern hotel, everything in nice contemporary grey tones. Clean and comfy. European-style (and consequent European prices) rooftop bar, which can get a bit noisy in the night but it wasn't absolutely a problem for us hard-sleepers. Best buffet breakfast I had in Uzbekistan: great variety and quality food, I really enjoyed my meal.
A very nice hotel even by Hilton standard.
Great view of the city park. Great options for breakfast.
Front desk staff Diyora was very nice and helpful. And thanks for the small gift of fridge magnet, always nicer than buying one.
Facilities are great.
Good vale for money even it's on the expensive side in Tashkent.
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Friendly and English speaking staff (Very rare in Uzbekistan from my experience). The room had everything you need with a very well built structure, did not feel cheap or squeaky. The location is good, not in the centre but you can easily get around Tashkent with taxi apps.
For me, this is the best affordable hotel in Tashkent. Worth every penny. Nice view outside balcony, strong wifi, variety of breakfast menu, friendly staff. The best thing is, they have handheld sprayer in the toilet, something which is so so so unusual in Uzbekistan.
The facilities (spa) are great and the breakfast is fabulous (the best we had in Uzbekistan so far)! Wonderful swimming pool with projector on the side playing music, super hammam and sauna.
The room is a bit small but good and clean, there’s Smart TV.
This is a historic building and staying there was like a time traveller to the history of 1970’s and 80’s. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. A short bus tour of Tashkent starts just in front of the Uzbekistan hotel.
GREAT LOCATION, NICE INTREIOR OF ROOMS....SUPER CLEAN WASHROOM...AMAZING BREAKFAST AND ALL ABOVE....SUPER EFFICIENT STAFF AT RECEPTION AND RESTURENT..I OBSERVED THIS IS THE BEST HOTEL IN TASHKENT .
Even it is located 5-6km from downtown but it is easy to go anywhere by bus and taxi in tashkent
very cheap though. This hotel is clean, nice vibe n there is like a sharing working space.
Excellent staff who were very helpful. The Hotel has great views of the city. The styling of the hotel was really good. We will definitely stay again next time we're in Tashkent.
The Manifa Hotel located near the popular attractions, in the city center. Hotel clean, beds comfortable, it was the top hotel during my trip to Uzbekistan.
