Fridges in the rooms was an added bonus, plus fast wifi, reasonable self-parking, and an amazing shower.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from the University of Melbourne and Lygon Street, Essence Hotel Carlton offers rooms featuring a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Location very close to uni and city. Staff are nice and helpful.

Location perfect, close to facilities, shops, restaurants & transport but also peaceful away from the CBD.

The apartment was very spacious for 8pax. Kitchen was fully equipped. Parking available in a gated compound which is a big plus point. On a separate note, we had an issue with the water tank which was leaking. the staff was very prompt in replying and coming down to check. they were very quick to activate and rectify the issue. i must say Lee, Leong and Seth were very efficient. Highly recommend.
