The rooms are bathed in natural light during the day and have a romantically dim atmosphere at night, perfect for those seeking a cozy vibe. Located in an old city alleyway, reaching the hotel requires a short climb up some steps as cars can't access the door directly. However, the staff's prompt assistance, even meeting us at the nearby vine shop named the Hillside to help with our bags, impressed us greatly. What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding hospitality and responsiveness of the staff. They exceeded our expectations by assisting with various requests, from carrying bags upon arrival to accompanying us to a nearby bank for currency exchange. Though we had to pay a fee for early check-in (half of the day cost), the convenience of securing a room upon our early arrival made it worthwhile. Overall, our stay felt like being at home – the rooms were spotless, amenities replenished daily, and unlimited coffee and tea provided. In addition, it's worth noting that breakfast is not included at the hotel. However, guests have the option to enjoy breakfast for 15 manat per person at the nearby upscale restaurant, The Terrace, which boasts a beautiful city view. Furthermore, the hotel's own terrace offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and the Caspian Sea, providing guests with a stunning backdrop to complement their stay. Exploring Baku's old city on foot is a delight, Each step is rewarded with the charm of the surroundings, making it a memorable experience.

If you are lucky and manage to book a room with a balcony, you will be rewarded with a beautiful garlands of blooming geraniums, just a top of the roofs of the ancient bathhouse. Your booking comes with a free breakfast, which most of us perceive as a mundane way to convince people to book. In fact each morning you will experience the unique Azerbaijani hospitality at its best. A careful selection of organic, homemade and freshly baked bread buns, fresh fluffy omelettes, cheesecakes and a long tray of condiments, accompanied by the tastiest tea and fresh espresso coffee in the whole old town will be served to you at the rooftop terrace restaurant. Comfortable beds, tastefully decorated rooms will add even more comfort to your stay. We’ve stayed for just three nights, but already planning to come back for longer stay. The best part - for some reason the taxi driver canceled the trip and we were very tight on time, so the owner himself took control over the situation and arranged a smooth and fast transfer to the airport. The Royal Antique Hotel is highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience the best of the Azerbaijani hospitality, traditions and family values.

Dieses Hotel – gut gelegen im Bezirk Sabayil – befindet sich 1 km von Maiden Tower, 1,3 km von Freedom Square und 1,3 km von Palace of The Shirvanshahs entfernt. Die Lage war super zentral, das Frühstück sehr lecker, das Personal extrem bemüht, hilfsbereit und freundlich! Toll war, dass die Balkontürenim Zimmer für frische Luft zu öffnen waren. Wir können es sehr empfehlen!
