This hotel was ideally located in the old center of Basil. Everything is accessible walking or by public transport. The rooms and facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. A fantastic small boutique hotel on edge of Basel old town. Easy to get to from airport or railway station. Reception staff, as with all the hotel staff, were hugely pleasant and welcoming. The room was faultless, modern, plenty of space, spotlessly clean. Absolutely top grade shower. Buffet breakfast was also top grade and once again the staff were so helpful, particularly the lady with spectacles. We travel extensively and It has been some time since we have stayed anywhere where we could find no fault whatsoever. The Passage is really one such very special hotel. We’d return in an instant!

The location is very central, with plenty of lovely restaurants and shops close by. The apartment was spacious, clean, nicely furnished and well-equipped. The rooms were warm and the beds very comfortable. The rooftop terrace looked great but we couldn’t enjoy it as it rained a lot. The communication and check in/out was fast and easy. Wish we'd booked for longer. Looking forward to next time!
