Good place to stay, with a 20 minutes walk to the central railway station in interesting areas, many parks nearby, and a big shopping mall approx 5 minutes by taxi. Restaurants and shops nearby and really a non-touristic area, that suited me very well. The positions on booking.com wee not correct, two taxitrips were needed to find the hotel, but once there, everything was ok. Remember to bring cash! ATM 10 minutes away.

However, it was the evening international seafood and BBQ buffet that truly stole the show. With complimentary wine, a refined selection of caviar and foie gras, and an extensive spread of gourmet offerings, it was a dining experience to remember. Thank you, Sofitel Kunming, for an unforgettable stay; I’ll undoubtedly return.

Kunming Haitian Hotel ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van het metrostation Tangzixiang (lijn 2) en biedt accommodatie met moderne faciliteiten in Kunming. Alle kamers bieden uitzicht op de stad. The staffs. The service was was excellent, especially the front desk staffs. This guy called 苗国通was the best ever. He did all out to help us, even walk me out to show me direction of bus stop etc. He is no 1.
