The property is beautiful and nicely recovered given the nature of the building. Our room was smallish but very comfortable. We went on a complimentary guided tour that was really fun and informative. Our room had access to a terrace which had a lovely view facing a nearby church.

I was late because I missed my train and then got lost finding the hotel. The clerk cheerfully stayed about a half hour before her normal time for going off duty so I could check in. Then they moved me to a double room because of street noise in the first one. The breakfast was great, with good choices including hot dishes. Staff kept food dishes and coffee pots full and promptly cleaned up tables. And the restaurant downstairs was tremendous, a wonderful Czech beer hall with excellent food and service even when it was very busy. And of course great beer that they brewed themselves. I ate most of my meals there. Brno has lots of architectural and other attractions yet is not overrun with tourists like Prague.

They answered questions and messages immediately, both before and during my stay, and went out of their way to accomodate my special request without hesitation.
