An outdoor pool, hot tub and spa with a gym and sauna are offered at this elegant hotel. Each spacious room has a terrace with views over Guatemala City or the surrounding volcanoes. The Barcelo is situated in a safe area of the city off Avenida Reforma which has malls, restaurants, and the plublic transportation all in walking distance. They offer a complementary shuttle to and from the airport which was a huge plus! The staff was kind, bilingual, and resourceful! Additionally they have a breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options that are sure to meet everyones needs who stays! Room service at all hours as well! All in all my stay at the Barcelo exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend to anyone to book their stay at this amazing hotel.

Host was very kind and helpful. It is a very small room and very close to the airport and nightlife so a bit loud but I had earplugs so it didn’t bother me. Clean drinking water was provided and the shower was hot.
