Surrounded by tropical gardens, the seaside Pestana Grand Ocean Resort Hotel features the largest salt water pool on the Madeira Island. It was a beautiful location. The staff was very accommodating. I loved the half-board feature.

Located in the heart of Funchal’s Lido area, this 4-star hotel is a short walk from the city centre and boasts contemporary interiors and an outdoor pool with a terrace. The hotel was close to many restaurants and shops! Very close to the beach…. The pool was nice.

The 4-star Pestana Promenade Ocean Resort Hotel in Funchal is close to the Lido and offers direct access to the promenade that stretches to Praia Formosa. Everything was perfect (except the internet access)

Set in tropical palm gardens with 2 swimming pools and views of the Atlantic Ocean, Hotel Girassol offers modern and spacious rooms with private balconies. Very friendly staff. The hotel was clean and breakfast was exceptional with plenty of options.

This 4-star is within walking distance of the beach and Funchal City Centre. The hotel was amazing. It was really clean and the rooms were cleaned every day.
