Everything was perfect : 1- we arrived earlier, having finished the WHW, and we were allowed to drop our bags and get the room 1-hour earlier 2- the room was cute, large, very clean and all facilities work well 3- the continental breakfast is exactly what we needed to start our day 4- our host was very kind and thoughtful : thanks again !

We loved the extremely friendly host, Scott! He was exeptionally friendly and kind, and you got the feeling you had known him for a long time. He came with great advices and tips to our trip. Lastly the breakfast was incredible as well as the location was perfect, especially if you want to visit and climb Ben Nevis. The very best of recommendation to Scott from us!

Not even needed to say that everything was spotless clean. Hosts are welcoming, provided with all information needed and stayed in contact for our questions. We also liked the location. It is close enough to everything you need in the city center (five minutes by car), but has advantages of quiet neighborhood, that gives you an opportunity to rest well after a long day. Definitely recommend. We would stay again.

While it was by no means cheap as far as hostels go it was in a truly beautiful location and immaculately clean. We were two adults and a 17 yo and we slept very comfortably in a four bunk room. I was also surprised at how comfy the bunk beds were. We arrived late and were lucky enough to grab last call for dinner at the bar/restaurant just 1/4 mile south of the hostel. Again, location location location.

We had an amazing view of the Loch and despite being by the highway it was very quiet at night. We appreciated very much the continental breakfast, the best one we had during our holidays in Scotland. But the best of all was the host, she was always kind, helpful and smiling. We definately recommend the Lawriestone Guest House and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.ErnestoYoung couple
