Very friendly owner who you can spend hours chatting with and feel comfortable with. She is also very knowledgeable about the area and can give many advice about where to go and what to eat. She owns several cats, some of whom wander around the first floor area, but everything is still so clean. The guesthouse is close to the station and very clean too. Very useful kitchen for anyone to use if they want to cook for themselves. Overall, I would love to stay there again!

Guest house Yonemuraya was a pleasant surprise. It was so much better than staying at a hotel, as it felt like a more authentic Japanese experience. I travelled to Matsue for a conference at Kunibike Messe convention centre and this was only a short walk away. Emi-San was an excellent host, helping me with finding place for dinner, sightseeing and shopping ideas when I had time off work. There was a lively restaurant area nearby, and the train station, castle etc were within walking distance.
