It is very sweet and warm place to stay. Every time I travel to Longyearbyen I want to stay in Haugen Pensjonat. The staff very super kind. Rooms, kitchen and bathroom always very clean. I can only recommend.

Shared bathrooms where good size, clean and always had soap, toilet paper etc. We really liked the beds! Thick curtain kept the light out at night. Breakfast was good too! Coffee always free for guests.

It is located in a residential area, so if you wish to experience what life is like on Svalbard it is a much better choice, than staying in one of the hotels on the main street of Longyearbyen. Elena, the host is always there to help and always has a kind word for everyone. Can't wait to stay there again!
