We only stayed overnight but we felt safe, comfortable, and had everything we could think of. Our unit was quite large and we had a lot of room. I would definitely come back for a longer stay.

stunning location. mountains towering above you. beautiful landscaped gardens with shared modern pool steps from your door. Room was large with self catering facilities. very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. owner very helpful and on site. The 2 most friendly Great Danes were a bonus too

Superb ! We didn't expect such a place and being welcomed by our hots/chef... Not only this is a place to stay for the night but - under reservation - we did enjoy such a perfect italian 3 courses dinner (ZAR 415/pers.). Our hosts being both "chef"... Etienne was so interesting and knowledgeable about the local area and South Africa in general. The guest house was beautiful and the room we had was comfortable and very well equipped. There was WiFi ,hot water and lights during load shedding. The breakfast was tasty and generous. There was pool but too cold for us in August. A great stay, we would stay again. Location was good for the village and the national park.

VIlla Verona was net 'n uitmuntende ervaring. Beslis 'n volle 10/10. Elsie was 'n wonderlike gasvrou en al die voorbereidings voor die tyd was uit die boonste rakke. Die eenheid was uiters netjies en ten volle toegrus met so baie ekstras. Ons het ons besoek aan Swellendam baie geniet en sal Villa Verona met die grootste vrymoedigheid kan aanbeveel.
