Great location for La Flotte and the rest of the island. From the lovely welcome to the farewell it was exceptional. Excellent breakfast. Pool was great.

Located 500 metres from Plage des Prises, LA MAISON DE LA DUNE - Jacuzzi 1ère séance offerte - Piscine chauffée avec Abri Amovible - Plage située à 200m, accès direct par le bois offers 5-star... It was very clean and very well appointed. The pool and garden were lovely and the beach was a short walk. You could also walk to the village easily where there were many restaurants. The owners were fantastic. They helped with recommending places to visit, provided electric bikes for us to rent and even cooked us a lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing with fresh bread and croissants, jams, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Thank you Florence and Remy (and Fluffy)! We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Set 1 km from Plage Sud, Le Clos des Fantaisies offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. It is located 15 km from La Rochelle Train Station and offers bicycle parking. Excellent room and a lovely breakfast. This is a highly recommended place to stay when enjoying Il de Re.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ma Chambre d'Amis is set in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines, 1.2 km from Plage de la Côte Sauvage and 2 km from Conche des Baleines Beach. The place was cosy and clean, the room was spacious and had everything you need. I totally loved the big window facing the terrace and the dressing table.

A tranquil retreat in an ideal location. The garden was a mini oasis, we could walk to shops and restaurants and in 15 mins be at beautiful beaches. Thoughtfully decorated and appointed and Alex and Arnaud were on hand for any need!

La Martinoise Patio is located in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, 26 km from La Rochelle Train Station, 27 km from L'Espace Encan, and 30 km from Parc Expo de La Rochelle. Beautiful properly, the decor is wonderful. Four great sized bedrooms, perfect for our family. Location excellent.

Located 1.4 km from Plage de la Marielle, 2 km from Plage de la Pointe de Grignon and 39 km from La Rochelle Train Station, Les Clés d'Ars features accommodation situated in Ars-en-Ré. After spending six nights at Les Clés d’Ars in May '22, we both thought this was one of the loveliest places we've ever stayed, anywhere. Christine and Arnaud have created a calm, tasteful oasis in Ars en Ré; genuinely, a tiny piece of paradise on Île de Ré. They are both experts in hospitality and it really shows. They made us feel so welcome in a warm, kind but discreet way. We really did feel as if we were staying with close family friends. The common areas of this exceptional location have been carefully designed in a really tasteful, timeless way. So you feel as if you are staying in an exclusive hotel, even though it's a three-room guest house. The centrepiece is a cool, private courtyard, surrounded by climbing plants, and birdsong that leaves you feeling as if you're enjoying breakfast in a forest glade. And Christine's sublime breakfasts' legendary status is richly deserved (warning: they're also extremely generous. The fresh juice, fresh fruit, granola, yoghurt, great coffee and basket of bread and pastries left us full all morning). Our room was excellent, finished to a very high spec with a fantastic overhead shower. We also both slept really soundly, despite being at the front of the building – mainly thanks to the very excellent, firm mattress. There was some street noise one night while we were there (to be expected near the port). But, overall, we found the area was almost silent from 22:00 onwards, even in May. Christine and Arnaud have earned their high rankings on Booking.com and Tripadvisor for good reason and we would recommend them to anyone who's planning to visit this fascinating island.

Featuring an open-air bath and views of pool, LE LANTERNON is a guest house set in a historic building in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, 1 km from La Cible. Le Laternon is a home and an adventure in one. Everywhere you turn you are comforted and delighted by what you see and feel. From the incredible art works on the walls to the perfectly worn wood and finders linens….. it was difficult to tear myself away to venture outside. I imagine coming back in the wintertime. And Autumn, and spring….again and again.
