The staff were amazing, particularly Octavian. We were on honeymoon and they went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable stay. The room was immaculate and the food was delicious. Couldn't fault it. Wish we lived closer to visit more often!

Set in Whitby and within 700 metres of Whitby Beach, The Station Inn Whitby has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything. The room was excellent. The music and the beer were fantastic. The guys were very kind all the time. We hope to come back again!

A 20-minute walk from York city centre, The Apple House has a garden with play area, free Wi-Fi and a free DVD library to complement the DVD players found in the bedrooms. Danielle, the proprietor, is absolutely lovely. She takes a special interest in every guest. The location is outstanding! We could walk the whole city easily from there and felt quite safe even after dark. Breakfast options were excellent and the parking plentiful.

This 17th century Grade II listed house is located in pretty village of Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. beautiful old property, full of character. very comfortable bedroom. good quality bedding and towels, and spotlessly clean. In a perfect location in the centre of Grassington, with off street parking, and a lovely garden. Breakfast was delicious too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful victorian style building with lots of space and a four poster bed. Friendly welcome from Lisa who allowed an early check in and provided some priceless tourist advice with a map. Great breakfasts and spotlessly clean

Situated just 300 metres from York Minster, Minster Walk Guest House is a charming 300-year old coaching inn with free WiFi. This guesthouse was so fantastic I had to leave a bit of a longer review than i normally would. My wife and I love the city of York anyway so we were excited to be coming back. But walking in the front door of this gorgeous, quirky guesthouse we knew we were in for a treat. We have quirky and eclectic tastes anyway, and this guesthouse far exceeded our expectations. Firstly the room was lovely and comfortable, and we felt right at home. But it's the front 'lounge/chill out' area that is the best thing. It's like stepping into someone's funky lounge room, actually a bit like our place lol. The owner has such great tastes. Lot's of knick knacks everywhere, funky little corners to chill out in, books everywhere to read. We got a great Nepalese takeout from down the road, a bottle of wine, and spent the night together reading some of the books to each other laughing and having such a wonderful and relaxing time. The place is so comfortable, nooky and feels so nice. And super close to town. I would recommend this place to everyone, and we can't wait to stay there again. The staff in the morning we spoke to were super lovely too. I wanted to say to the owner and the staff thank you from my wife and I, and please don't change anything about this place. There are already so many generic boring places out there to stay in. This place's differences are what makes it so refreshing

Set in an elegant Victorian house, the 4-star Fountains Guest Accommodation is just a 5-minute walk from Harrogate’s historic centre. Breakfast was great and the staff are extremely friendly.
