Die Unterkunft Bolaven trail guesthouse, die in Pakse, 700 m von Wat Luang entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Gemeinschaftslounge, kostenlosen Privatparkplätzen,... - sehr gut gelegen - sauberes Zimmer und gute Größe - unglaublich hilfsbereiter Inhaber - optimal für den Pakse Loop - konnten unsere Sachen dort lassen, damit wir für den Loop nur einen kleinen Rucksack mitnehmen mussten > währenddessen wurde Wäsche für uns gewaschen - Frühstück kann dazu gebucht werden und war sehr gut (Man könnte auch hier direkt Roller ausleihen - hatten wir jetzt nicht gemacht, da wir es nicht vorher wussten)

Impossible to describe the beauty of this island with Don Som guesthouse as the perfect place for relaxing, swinging in one of the hammocks, reading a book on one of the terraces, swimming in the Mekong, cycling around the island, enjoying great food, taking a cooking class, having interesting talks with the very nice hosts Sander and Tanoi, doing yoga, or just sit and be mesmerized by the incredible beauty of the Mekong river. We stayed 4 nights in the double room with private terrace and private bathroom. What a joy to open the door of the bungalow in the morning and see the sun come up on the river. Our bungalow was spacious, cosy, comfortable and very clean with nice fresh smelling bedsheets. We recommend to rent bycicles at Don Khon and take them by boat to Don Som as long as it is not possible to rent bycicles at the guesthouse. Our stay at Don Som guesthouse is a highlight in our 8 months of travelling. Highly recommended! 💗

Das Xuanmai Garden Resort liegt eine 15-minütige Fahrt vom Pakse Zentrum entfernt. Ihre Mahlzeiten können Sie im Restaurant in der Unterkunft genießen. Wir waren dreimal dort. Konnten unsere grossen Rucksäcke dort deponieren und mit kleinem Gepäck den Bolavenloop machen. Schöner Garten, sehr ruhige Lage, saubere Zimmer mit guter Klimaanlage. Die Besitzerin hat uns herzlich umsorgt. Wir würden Xuanmai Garden Resort wieder wählen.

This is the small, nice accommodation with some French touch, you are looking for in Asia.

What I love the most was the kindness of the owner, Tina, and her professionality. She helped me in everything and arranged my trip to 4000 islands.She also cooked for me and she is extremely good in cooking.She speaks English really fluently. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was good and there was hot water. In this guest house I felt like to be at home.

The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!
