We had a very relaxing stay. The property and room were tranquil and spacious. There was so much food during meals and snacks / ramen in the room. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. When we said we needed to buy tea as gifts, he let us try multiple teas and gave us helpful tips to purchase tea at their family’s store in Alishan.

The host family shows great hospitality during our stay. They did not only treat us famous Alishan tea, but also gave us a ride to another sightseeing point when we said we were in a tight schedule. The whole family is very nice! 😆

Riley Ming Xuan B&B, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Meishan, 21 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street, 26 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall, as well as 39 km from Wufeng Park. It is so peaceful here. The area is stunning with lovely walks looking at the tea plantation fields. Owners are lovely although we communicated solely via Google Translate! Beds were comfortable and a great shower.

Offering a shared lounge and city view, Green incense Homestay is situated in Zhuqi, 26 km from Alishan Forest Railway and 31 km from Wufeng Park. We really enjoyed our stay at the Green Incense Homestay. The room was massive and the view from our room to the tea farm was amazing. Breakfast was really delicious and homey, and I couldn't get enough of the ginger tea, perfect for cold weather. We relied on bus to get around and the hosts were super kind to ferry us to the bus stop, nearby restaurants and even to Eryanping for an early hike. They were also very helpful with any inquiries we had on how to plan our trip and we had great conversations with them on the history of the area. The restaurants around this area close early around 7 PM so factor this in if you wish to have dinner in Shizhuo. Overall, we had a great time at the Homestay and really appreciate the kindness of the hosts, their hospitality made the trip so much more enjoyable.
