Cannot recommend Pua Vaenga more! Bea was a wonderful host, she picked us up from the airport with beautiful flower necklaces. She was amazing from start to finish- was always there when we needed, and took us on an excellent (and really reasonably priced) tour! We learned so much about the Island and it's history, and also got an included beach trip. The hostel itself is lovely, the beds are super comfy and it's kept spotlessly clean. Hostel manager is very kind and helpful. Restaurants and shopping is near from hostel. Internet speed is ok. Breakfast is good. I recommend it. I would to visit again! 😅

Lovely basic accommodation in a quiet area of town. I don't do fancy places on islands so this was perfect. Clean with a full shared kitchen. Very comfy bed. Three mins walk to main street with car rental at the bottom of the street. The host was lovely even though he spoke minimal English, but we got by with Google translator. They collect you from the airport with the traditional flower garland and drop you back there with the gift of a necklace. Would definitely recommend it for a great price .
