Awesome place! We stayed in the Suite with Volcano View and definitely one of the best and most comfy rooms while traveling in Guatemala. We loved it! Beautiful public spaces, amazing view from the suite and all the colorful flowers on the balcony! The staff was extremely kind and helpful. And the area was quiet which is not easy to find in Antigua ! We just loved it!!! Thank you to the whole Barbara's hostel team for their hospitality.

Brenda is absolutely brilliant! Our Acatenango tour didn't pick us up and she called them for us and sort it out - basically saving the day! Plus she and the team are super hardworking and friendly! Hostel is also great: super clean, really good brekkie, and great location. And very easy to meet people if you try! Lovely garden too.
