It’s super clean, beds are insanely comfortable, all the people who work there are very friendly and all the doggies and cats are just a cherry on top! The kitchen is super well equipped. It’s also very, very close from the ferry dock. Highly recommended!

Everything was good. Room was clean and has toilet. Free breakfast in the morning. Staffs are friendly and nice. Stayed here for 3days.

The place was really good, surrounded by nature and very well located. The breakfast contained everything, the staff was nice and willing to help, and the cleaning of the entire place was excellent.

I really really recommend staying at hostel papagaio. It immediately felt like home, it is a very intimate hostel and the owners are just great hosts. It’s super clean and the common area feels like a living room, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and there is free coffee and if you are lucky snacks. I wouldn’t have left if I didn’t have to! Set in Abraão, Mahalo Hostel features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is situated 2.4 km from Abraaozinho Beach. Simple accommodations but had everything you need: comfy bed, warm shower, functional lockers (unlike some other hostels in Brazil) breakfast included, etc. The guy at the reception (Gonza) was extremely helpful and patient with me when I had questions about this and that, as I just landed in Brazil a day before arriving this hostel and needed some orientation about few things as well as local tours. The location is right next to the centre (close to everything) yet in a quiet place which was nice.
