The owners were super friendly and helpfull. They offer to book tours and transfers for the guests with the best rates I found in town. The place was very clean (spotless) and organized, they have some hammocks to relax and a good parking space. The room, although simple, was very comfy and with enough space to hang stuff. They have the best equipped kitchen I've seen in a hostel anywhere, with even spices and sauces for common use. Superb value for money.

Owner and volunteers were super nice and made us feel at home. Comfortable kitchen and loved the shared dinner!

GreenPoint Drake Bay está en Drake y tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis. Great experience in the middle of the jungle far from... anything! The cabins are very simple so it's as authentic as it may be. Recommended are ear plugs in case it rains (very loud) or even for the nightlife (much more acceptable). Also, a car is probably necessary as it's a few Kms away from the city. Coming by car, even with a small car, is actually easy in any season.

El Bolita Trails and Lodging ofrece alojamiento en Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre, a 14 km de Puerto Jiménez. El establecimiento ofrece 14 km de rutas de senderismo, junto al parque Corcovado. I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Nomadic Surf Camp está en Uvita, a 7 min a pie de Playa Uvita y a 15 km de Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary. Amazing owners of the place, the kindest people a met in Costarica, they'll help you with anything you might need. The place looks very cozy, chill, has good vibes and its right at the most beautiful beach! I truly loved it there and highly recommend it. Pura Vida, see you soon! :)

La Muñequita Lodge 2 - culture & nature experience se encuentra en Palmar Sur y dispone de bicicletas gratis, jardín, restaurante y wifi gratis. The owners Heiner y Jenny are exceptional people- super welcoming and happy people. I was there with my two little boys and we all loved it! They have animals on the farm and beautiful wildlife and great nature all around. Plus Jenny is a fantastic cook!
