Comfortable beds, soundproof rooms, really loved the chilled outside area with pool table, unlimited coffee, drinking water and beer available to buy from the fridge. Really nice vibe to socialise with people in a relaxed environment. Staff are so lovely and great to chat to and great value for money too! I extended my stay and wanted to stay forever. Would definitely stay again and met some wonderful people during my stay here.

I stayed at City Backpackers for a few nights and it's an amazing place! They have a pool table, free coffee and tea, and breakfast. You can also buy beer there. It's quiet at night, which is great. The showers are good and have hot water. The staff are really amazing people. It's right next to the main road where there are lots of restaurants. In the evening, there's a night market close by with lots of local stuff to see and buy. Also, the wifi works well!

Very hospitable and helpful staff. The mattress was the comfiest I have come across in the whole southeast Asia. The place has a nice patio.

Situated 900 metres from the night market, Mad Monkey Luang Prabang offers accommodation with an on-site bar and cafe.. Free WiFi is accessible throughout the property. Honestly my favourite Mad Monkey stay so far. Had all the classic Monkey amenities - pool, restaurant, Bar, reception with booking services and TukTuks out front waiting to give you a ride into town. Maybe it's because it's a bit smaller or off the main strip of town but everything is just a bit nicer at this one. The bunks are spacious and have great storage, the hot water is there right away, the wifi works and you don't have to hike up stairs to get to your room. There is still plenty of social energy in the evening and the ride to bowling leaves at midnight!
