Located within 400 metres of Wat Xieng Thong and 800 metres of Night Market, Barn Laos Luangprabang Hostel provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Luang Prabang. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Asia: it was very clean and modern, the staff was amazing, especially the girl whos family owns the hostel, and the location is excellent. I could have stayed here happily for a month! Extra points for the great aircon and comfy bed!

Aurora Backpackers Hostel features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Luang Prabang. Clean dorm, toilet and bathroom! Very quiet! Guy at the reception is very helpful, owner lady doesn’t speak english but he does a very nice job in translating and helping with whatever needed. Free bananas, snacks, tea, coffee and refillable water. Location is in a by lane where morning and night market is so it’s perfect to walk down to.
