Located within 700 metres of Laos National Museum and 1.4 km of Wat Sisaket, House Of Jars provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Vientiane. What I love the most was listening to the rain drops at its little terrace :) The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the bed and bathroom is clean. They provide padlock and towel on deposit. Breakfast was great too. Also, free water provided.

I wasn’t supposed to stay here. My supposed hostel cancelled my reservation 3 days before my stay. I’m glad they did! I stayed in a gem of a hostel for a price cheaper than what my previous offered. What I liked about the place is that the location is really nice. It’s away from the busy streets but very walkable. I stayed in the dorms all I can say is that it was designed properly! You can really have the privacy you need despite 7 other people staying in the room with you! The curtain blocks off most of the light from the outside. Also, even if you got an upper bunk bed, it’s easy to go up since there’s a mini staircase instead of a ladder. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel! One of the best hostel in the world!

Everything perfect. Clean and confortable room. Very good breakfast. Everybody kind to help you. Very close from the Mekong River.

Barn Laos Hostel in Vientiane provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. I really really enjoyed staying here. The beds were very spacious and incredibly comfortable, I slept amazing here. They had a very nice shop where you could buy beer or water and a comfortable communal space where you can lay down, read books, or play card games or dominos. Very clean and nice

I recommend this hostel to anyone travelling through Vientiane 150%! The staff are lovely, the place is spotlessly clean and very well kept. The beds are very private (curtains around each individual bed) and the blankets are soft. Shampoo and soap is provided in the modern, clean bathrooms. AC keeps the whole building very cool. Location is fantastic - very central and close to the river :) Price is unbeatable. The staff here communicated with me and helped me out when I had some confusion with my booking, and I’m incredibly grateful.

This hotel is the most cost-effective and the highest and most environment within 20 kilometers. Other hotels are very expensive and far away. The owner's English is very good and quickly check in, bringing me back to the room to rest. The roommate is very high, and it will not give a little sound when you sleep at night, so that you can sleep peace of mind.
