Posada del Abuelito Boutique Hostel is located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas’ town centre. Free Wi-Fi access is available and breakfast is included with the rate. one of my favorite rooms of any hostel. Great place, great location, organised a dinner for nye. Onky downside was as a solo traveller it wasnt a very social hostel (maybe all the solo travellers were partying on the beach for nye). But its an amazing hostel especially if travelling with a partner.

This hostel made me feel at home right away. It is like staying in a home with friendly people and a great, peaceful vibe - one of the best places I've stayed at in all of Mexico. The owner and the crew are very welcoming and helpful, and glad to share tips about the city and Mexico in general. The entire place is very clean, the shower has perfect temperature and pressure, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is everything you need! There is a lovely rooftop. There are lovely dogs around, and the owner is very mindful about whether guests are comfortable. I will definitely be back here whenever I am in San Cristobal again. Loved that there was a heater in the room and thick blankets! It was generally quiet at night and nice to have access to a kitchen. My room was very tiny; but depending on how much luggage you have this may or may not matter.
