Really nice staff and amazing view from the hostel and the restaurant. The food prices are more than fair and very yummy daily specials. It’s a small hostel, so it is easy to meet other travellers in the main hangout area. The hostel is owned by locals. I can definitely recommend this place :)

Everything was perfect. Daniella and Tony are excellent hosts, very welcoming. Great breakfast and sandwiches for a volcano tour. The place is very beautiful and peaceful. A towel was provided for the stay. It's a little bit of a walk to the property but it is worth it.

I had an amazing stay at Hostel Clandestino. I booked a room in the VW bus, which unfortunately had been booked already so Corrina upgraded me to the private cabin. Very nicely done, just completed. Beautiful and peaceful spot with everything you need and more.

Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

I had an incredible time there; the staff was fantastic, and the daytime ambiance was wonderfully relaxed. The food is not only delicious but also incredibly budget-friendly. Plus, on Thursdays and Sundays, they throw some fantastic parties – the perfect blend of fun and work-friendly atmosphere.

We were with two friends and shared a bed, it's a little bit tight but still comfy. The deck with pool is amazing and it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Loved the vibe and the staff. On top off that the breakfast was amazing! Actually the food in general is very good, especially if you take the size of the kitchen into account. They were also very accommodating when we wanted to drop off our surfboards a couple days before our stay
