The views from the common room were amazing and the fire place created a comfy atmosphere. My only regret is that we did not stay an extra night. Hope to be back one day!

Featuring stunning views out to Lake Wanaka and the mountains, Haka House Wanaka offers relaxed and welcoming hostel accommodation. The Staff were above par- Friendly, serviceable . LOVED the Kitchen!!!! Was so well organized, immaculately clean, well stocked with kitchen tools, appliances , multiple cooking units- it had it all.

The property is easy to access, location is fantastic right beside Highlands, fantastic indoor parking. Very clean and tidy. Very good facilities, huge lounge room, would be great to have a family group / company gathering here.

In my opinion one of the most beautiful cities on the South Island. Classical buildings from the Victorian era. Also possible to see dolphins at the harbor area in the evening.

Situated in the North Catlins, Surat Bay Lodge offers friendly private and dormitory rooms with free WiFi. We had a 270 degree view of the bay from our corner room! Very friendly helpful owner. Very well equipped shared kitchen. Only a few rooms in the hotel so it was very quaint. Nice sitting area with a sun room. Clean bathrooms.
