The staff will help you book trips and there is also a possibility to get your laundry done. It has a beautiful central courtyard and common spaces to hang out. The WiFi is great! Overall this was a great experience!

Featuring a garden and a shared lounge, Hostel Rivendell is located in the centre of Cusco, 3.3 km from Wanchaq Train station. Great hostel. Hot showers all the time, small lockers for valuables, a simple breakfast, good location, and great vibes / friendly guests. The owner is very attentive and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

I stayed here after my hike on the Inca Trail, and the bed was so comfortable. It was larger than a regular dorm bed, and there were two pillows, it was an awesome treat after the trail. They helped me hire a taxi to the airport as well.

Rómulo and Gelga have really created a beautiful and heartwarming space. The house is very modern and has all the facilities you may need (free wifi, hot water, own private bathroom, toiletries, hot water bottles on cold days, free delicious breakfast, etc) but on top of it all it has a special kind of charm. Templo de la Luna is basically in your backyard and the whole area where the house is located has such a magical energy. It’s a little far from the center, which makes it super quiet and peaceful but you can get to San Blas or Plaza de Armas within 20 minutes walk following the beautiful path of the inca trail. If you don’t feel like walking back up (it’s a good hike!) you can easily get an uber for 10-15 soles. From the minute you step foot in the house you feel extremely welcome. You can feel the love and attention they’ve put into every detail and it truly feels like staying with family. Rómulo is incredibly knowledgeable about the quechua and inca culture and took me for an amazing walk to templo de la luna and zona X. He does tours too, I would totally recommend! Gelga is always so kind, she cooked me rice soup and some home remedies when I wasn’t feeling well and helped me with my laundry. They’re always happy to help with anything you may need (advice, booking taxis, tours, etc) and with a big smile on their face. If you get the chance to share a lunch with them, I encourage you to! The food is so delicious and it truly feels like sharing a meal with your family. You will honestly not find a better place to stay in Cusco, especially for that price! If you’re looking for a place where you can feel safe, cozy and at home, I couldn’t recommend it more. Whenever I’m back in Cusco I’ll be staying again, no doubt! Situated within 17 km of Huayna Picchu and 19 km of Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary, Lia B&B Lucmabamba features rooms in Sahuayacu. This pet-friendly hostel also has free WiFi. Hosts are lovely people, we felt very welcomed and taken care of. Room was very spacious, clean, had amenities needed. Breakfast and dinner - delicious! We wish them good luck☺️
