The hotel also gives you cards for the funicular which allow you to jump the queue and board for free, this was really useful and made the location great as it was only 5 minutes away from Union Garden and the centre if you took the funicular instead of walking. The staff were always really helpful and pleasant to deal with too. Breakfast being included was also a bonus.

There are also L'Occitane amenities. Unión Garden has live music until midnight, and while other hotels have complained of excessive noise, there was very little noise at this hotel (that's why we had very effective earplugs). Breakfast was served at the upscale restaurant next door and was very delicious with coffee, fruit, bread, and a main dish. It is eminently walkable to all the sites in the historic city centre from the hotel. A lot of restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood too! The hotel staff are helpful and try their best to make the stay comfortable.
