Ginga no Yado Kinoko2seigo ligger i Shimo-tajiri och erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 38 km från Aso. Very friendly owner! Onsen is nice ,the rooms very spacious and breakfast is great even with croissants. Star gazing is also nice qith his privat scope. I strongly recommend to take the breakfast and dinner , ist very good AND all the restaurants were closed during our time in the spring!! Do not believe google information here that is not op to date ! We loved our stay

Kurokawa Mori no Cottage ligger 41 km från Aso och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en trädgård, en terrass, en balkong och gratis WiFi. This is the best place I have ever stayed in OITA. The house is very nice and very cozy. It is very warm and the place is very beautiful! Even my mum and dad who do not normally say anything was very vocal how much they love the place. The owners were very helpful and very warm people too. Just a note that you cannot go here without a car because it is in the middle of the forest. But renting a car and going here was the best decision we have made for our whole Fukuoka trip!
