Centrally located in Akaroa, this motel offers rooms with either a balcony or a patio. It also includes 500MB of free WiFi per day, per room. Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s... Everything. I only stayed a night but it was perfect. The room (and the bathroom) was huge and had everything. The room also had a balcony overlooking the water.

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. The rooms very modern and clean! The kitchen area was well stocked and the bathroom had great soaps and had a fantastic shower and tub. The best part however was having the huge window that had a stunning view of mount Cook!! Just amazing!! Also having laundry available was great! (Does cost $4 for wash, $5 for dry but really nice quick machines!) Beds were comfortable and location was awesome. Only a 3 min drive or a 25 min walk to Hook Valley Trail. (And 5 min drive to Mt Cook airport for Heli adventures) Great walking trails behind the hotel as well and several decent food options around the area.

Free Wi-Fi access is available at Tuscana Motor Lodge, offering spacious studios and apartments with DVD player and LCD satellite TV. Christchurch city centre is only 10 minutes’ walk away. Everything was perfect , the welcome the facilities and the location. Lovely owners 👍

Northwood Motor Lodge is a 4-star motel on the edge of Christchurch, only 8km from the airport. The motel offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The owner was extremely helpful.　For example, he picked us up at the airport with a free shuttle bus and took us to the lodge after stopping at a supermarket on the way to buy some things we needed.

Situated in Christchurch, within 7.3 km of Canterbury Museum and 7.5 km of Christchurch Art Gallery, Avon City Motel features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking... This was our second visit in 2 weeks before returning home to Tasmania. We were welcomed back like old friends. Terry and Bon are lovely. On our day of depature we had a very early pick up (4.10am) and they said to just leave anything we didn't want to take home and theycwould get rid of it.

Very clean and modern little apartment. Well equipped. Great bed. Patio chairs to sit outside in the sunshine. Very quiet so great night’s sleep.

Well set in the Merivale district of Christchurch, The Adelphi is situated 1.4 km from Christchurch Art Gallery, 2 km from Hagley Park and 4.3 km from Christchurch Railway Station. Lovely welcome from the staff, and given a choice of 2 rooms. Rooms were well equipped, well laid out. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Great shower and great laundry facilities, which was very useful for travelling guests. Great location just outside the city, close to Hagley Park and within 20-25 mins walk into the centre. Very friendly cat called Peanut greeted us every morning
