This place is wonderful. Lots of small extra touches like chocolates left on the bed were great. The bed was amazing. The room had everything you would need including air con and block out blinds. Chalet very well equipped, clean and very spacious. Quiet without seeing or hearing the neighbors. 3min from the center of Takaka. Warm welcome of the owner, impeccable cleanliness of the chalet, everything is very well organized, own barbecue. Wonderful terrasse. A commun kitchen also with more tools if need. The reality is much better than the website's photo shows. The bungalows are very spacious, nice, feel-good . Not the feeling of cheap, box-like as photos could let think. A great place. Top location . Can be a very good base. We would have like to stay longer. Good wifi. We highly recommand. Often full so don't miss to book.

All rooms are equipped with cooking facilities, King size beds, satellite TV and free WiFi.... We stayed here for 3 nights. We didn't arrive until 0100am due to ferry delay but access was fine and the room light left on. Lesley and Mike go that extra mile and made our stay super relaxing and even take care of your laundry so you can spend more time out. Location was great and a few minutes walk from good shops and resturants. Would definately recommend to all.

Very helpful receptionist who was very understanding when our friends had mistakenly booked for the wrong month. Gave advice about alternative places.. The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable.
